The decor is a little outdated, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful and the carpet was very soft and made me remember what mine used to be like when it was new. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The water pressure in the shower was great and it had a vhs and some movies you can borrow to play into the old school vibe. If you are looking for a 5 star resort this isn't the place for you, but if you are looking for a great place to stay I would highly recommend the Flagship Inn.
Loved, loved, loved this motel! Beautiful room view! Clean, modern & very comfortable. Lady & gentleman on reception were lovely. Inclusive breakfast (continental) far better than most. We extended our stay as we loved it so much. One of our favorites so far on travelling through 🇺🇸. Reasonably priced too 😍
Above and beyond our expectations. My dearest and I, celebrated our 1 year anniversary here. The moment we stepped into our room, we were home, away from home. We dropped our belongings, remained "unplugged" without our phones, TV, and Xbox....we admired our balcony view from the top floor. Our room and the property is well kept, cozy and welcoming, respectful, and quiet. We met other genuinely happy, friendly people staying here. The staff, oh my goodness. You can feel, that they care. They are professional, friendly, and accommodating.
We loved our stay at Flagship inn. The view was amazing, the room dated, but very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. Tea, coffee, cream, fresh fruit are always available (awesome!!), also pastries in the morning and a wonderful 12pm checkout so you can sleep in on a weekend. :) We will be back!
Can't get a better view!!! Our rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was decent. The decor was stuck in the 80"s, but didn't bother us, haha!
We stayed here in mid February for just one night, and had an excellent stay. Upon arrival, the service was good and our room was easy to find as the motel is fairly small. While the rooms are most definitely dated, ours was exceptionally clean, which makes it a 5 star room in my book! The carpet even felt just ever so *slightly* damp, as if it had been very recently cleaned (the carpet was plush, cozy, and felt very clean under our feet). And though the rooms are fairly dated, they have taken steps to accommodate for this. For example, there were no outlets on the lamps, as is fairly standard these days, so they had extra outlets sitting on the side tables.
In the light of the morning we were able to see the view of the water, which was better than the view outside most hotel windows, even if there was another hotel across the way.
The breakfast was simple but good. A variety of bagels, muffins, English muffins, and cream cheese pastries. We felt that we recognized them as being from Costco, which is a huge step up from Otis Spunkmeyer in our opinion! They also had some hard boiled eggs, Quaker oatmeal packets, a selection of fruits, and hot tea and coffee.
All in all, I would definitely recommend Flagship Inn to friends and family as a nice and simple place to stay.
I like to preface some of my reviews with the fact that the stars are based on the category, a roughly $120 hotel as opposed to a 5 star $400 hotel. Having said that, this property is clean, well kept up and every room has a fabulous deck with a view overlooking the water. A basic continental breakfast is included. We walked 15 minutes to Silver City brewery and 8 minutes to Mandiles grill Mexican, both great places to visit.
Come for the economic value and the waterfront balcony view. Stay for the clean, inadvertently kitchy vintage decor and sufficiently generous carb-heavy breakfast. Longing for the days of the VCR/DVD combo appliance? This is literally the spot for you!
Introverts beware--the evening desk staff was SUPER friendly in the way that extroverted grandmothers would likely have a new best friend just from the encounter.
Amazing service and delicious ice cream, hot dogs and coffees. The vegan options are fantastic and delicious. The atmosphere is fully inclusive -- child friendly, disability friendly, just overall friendly. My child says "possibly the nicest people i
Best latte Iâve had on the peninsula(maple latte)! Super good espresso and a cozy environment that has plenty of space and different types of seating for working/reading. Definitely will be back regularly!
