Their website advertises "Reasonable Rates - Great Value." This is false marketing. Their daily rates as of August 2024 are $95 plus tax for a daily spot. For reference, years ago, San Diego with all of it's attractions was charging $70 per night and this was considered twice as expensive as places like Lodi, CA. Once, corporate businesses began buying up RV Parks, rates sky rocketed. Not only does this RV Park have one of the highest rates in the area, they're trying to convince people that "they have reasonable rates." Complete FAIL. Their permanent residents are paying $70 a night. On the plus side, I am happy to see that the gap between dailies and permanent residents is only $20 per day. This is much more realistic than what other RV Parks are doing, sometimes having as much as a $50 per day gap between permanent residents and daily guests. The permanent resident portion of the park which is now throughout the entire park is exactly what you would expect - much more run down and crowded with stuff than daily guests. During a stay here, they stuck us into a crammed spot in which we barely fit indicating it was all they had left even though we were upfront about the size of our RV and vehicle. I've noticed that for the outrageous daily prices, there is not an improvement in attitudes, services or amenities. You can still expect rude, inconsiderate folks that act like you're paying $25 a day. Something is truly wrong with the RV Industry.

We only had a 1 night stay at Flag City RV. I had reserved online and a few hours before arriving and they were totally ready for me. Think his name was Michael at the front desk. He was very friendly and helpful. They had a nice pool at the front with lots of people swimming since it was a hot day with temps over 100. We had a 50 Amp pull thru large concrete pad that fit our 40 ft trailer and tow vehicle. There is plenty of space for large vehicles to maneuver, it has nice shade and the shower facilities were very clean. There are quite a few gas stations and fast food restaurants within walking distance. The regular WiFi did not work so well and for some reason our hotspots was very slow which is unusual for Verizon. They do have paid service option for fast WiFi for video streaming. Overall, I would recommend staying there and would stay there again next time we do our PNW Trek.

This RV park is located near I5 at CA 12 near Lodi, CA. As you come off the freeway there are 2 truck stops for fuel. The park is a newer, modern RV park with many pull thrus that makes it a great overnight stop. It has full hook-ups including cable TV and some wifi. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. The shower rooms and washrooms are excellent. This park's price is high but with Passport America, it was $42.50 and good value at that price.

Terrible experience. We came in just before closing and the night guy Mike was very friendly and accommodating. However, the next morning before we go to leave the men’s showers didn’t have hot water. We tried to address this with the manager Steve and he was dismissive and wouldn’t provide us a timeframe of when the hot water would be back on. When I asked for a partial refund due to the facilities not being available he became belligerent and began using profanities at one point calling me an A$$hole. When I said this is terrible customer service he said I’m no longer a customer and must leave the premises immediately. We were still charged and I’ll be filing a dispute with my card holder and reaching out to the owner Dr. Jasber Gill to let him know of the anger management issues the manager Steve clearly has.

We made reservations for our trip last year and paid for our stay at that time. As we headed south last week we were unable to cross Siskiyou pass for several days. We kept the people at Flag City informed about our problem. When we arrived they recharged us $85 for our stay even though they have dozens of empty sites just like the one we rented. Low class! We won’t be back. We stayed at a place in Red Bluff the night before and they charged us a small fee for changing our reservation. Totally reasonable.

This is a very nice campground. All concrete pads, very spacious spots, friendly staff and It is well taken care of. Thank you!

Flag City is top notch - concrete pads, excellent restrooms with showers, friendly office folks, pool, laundry, etc. It is also the only option for staying near Lodi. But you pay for it at $85 a night. Negatives are traffic noise from nearby I5 is 24/7 and poor wifi unless you pay a daily fee of $2.99. This airline approach to pricing is disturbing and, I hope, not a trend.

We stayed here for a week and a half in September of 2023. The Good: The park is in a fairly good location along I-5. It is well kept, has a nice pool and hot tub, and a HUGE enclosed dog run. They accept packages, have fair prices for laundry, and while there are some sketchy areas not too far from the park, the park has security and the employees are friendly and seem to keep a close enough eye to keep out any issues. The sites are decent sized, but we did have to park our truck sideways to fit, even in the largest sites. The bad: there are a crazy number of feral cats running around everywhere (and smells like tom cat in some areas), and they appear to be fed by the staff who leave cat food in and around the pool area, and near the dog park, which our dogs inadvertently ate and had digestive issues from. The drain in the dog park has bars which are wide enough that some smaller dogs may be able to go through which could be dangerous for some. While it may not be practical for irrigation, it would be nice if there was a small lawn area next to each site rather than just rocks. The pool, while nice, is very cold, even when it's 100 degrees outside. They have a gigantic solar array for power generation, but apparently forgot to install a solar water heating system to keep the pool warmer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again but there is some room for improvement. Oh and we HIGHLY recommend the nearby La Dona Mexican Food Truck that was across from the Sinclair gas station when we were there. Excellent Mexican food.

I've been coming here since I was a little kid. Nice park with plenty of shaded picnic areas. Of course, there's the lake and river. Can't forget about the bike/walk trial. Perfect to take morning walks.
