Great spot for your comfort korean food in manhattan! It is slightly pricey but what isn't in ktown. No wait compared to bcd and also has better food! Their banchan (side dishes) is pretty good and that's always how you can spot a good korean restaurant
One of my go tos in koreatown. Always on point with the plethora of banchans. I love how their sooddooboo has a mix option of beef, seafoods, and vegetables. The octopus noodles were also terrific.
Wait time: <10 min with a group of 4 on a Saturday evening. Ordered: These two dishes were bussin. I still think about it. Came with ban chan. You can taste the quality. The potato salad was made with sweet potatoes which isn’t common and it was delicious. -Ju Mok Bokum: stir fried baby octopus and pork with udon noodles. -Dol Pan Kimchi Bokum Bap: kimchi fried rice with mozzarella cheese melted on top. Vibe: Great place to take friends. Can easily accommodate a large group. Would I return?: Yesssssss.
My friend and I really wanted to try Korean raw marinated crab and after some searching, we found Five Senses and decided to come give it a try! There was a good amount of seating available and kpop playing in the background. What we got: - Soy sauce blue marinated crab - Kimchi fried rice Final Thoughts: I'm glad we were able to try the raw marinated crabs but I don't think it was a dish that fit my taste. Wasn't bad but not something I'd order a whole plate of for myself again as I found it pretty salty even with rice. The kimchi fried rice is one of Five Senses' signature dishes and comes loaded with seafood and mixed at your table with egg. The skillet helped get the rice crispy and it was a fairly big portion too.
Five Sense was very good! Minimal wait time to be seated and food comes out quickly. Food was delicious- my only complaint was menu items that weren’t marked as spicy, actually were. The side dishes before your food comes were a nice touch. Would eat here again!
The place was absolutely packed, but staff was very friendly and accommodating, I got a table with no waiting time. The food was very delicious, I ordered the dumplings, the pork belly soup and another dish that I forgot the name. Everything was very nice, tasty, well made and well presented. My pork belly soup was 10 out 10. My only negative comment is that I wish the staff could remove the empty dishes around the restaurant in more silent, so that wouldn’t disturb customers.
A nice home cooked style Korean food. They offer an array of well known Korean dishes, such as cold noodles, kimchi soup, and BBQs dishes. The service is fast and professional. The Banchan dishes are also very good. Overall, a nice experience.
Loved the place, the staff, the food, drinks, and location. So if you are near the Empire State building and want to grab a bite! This place is it!!! I recommend the Galbi bibimbap.

One of the best bibimbaps Iâve ever had! Cozy space so there is not a lot of seating, but would get it as take-out if needed. Will definitely go back!

Great class. All the coaches organize classes to push you but allow you to workout to your level. The workout space is not overcrowded and the environment makes you forget youâre actually running!
