Five Points Lake Hamilton - Camping cabin in Hot Springs - 155 5 Points Rd, USA

Overall the rooms are what one would expect with an old rustic cabin built pre-WW2. The area was wonderful, you feel like you are in the middle of the woods but only minutes from downtown Hot Springs. Plenty of space for our family of 5 in the 2 bedroom cabin. Skip was awesome! The breakfast food was an extra treat. The rest of the staff was also very nice. We didn't stay on site much but our opinion would be much different if we had spent more time there. The rooms were clean "ish". We found a few tags from clothes under the bed (which means the cleaning wasn't real thorough). The stove smelled crazy awful when we turned it on. The swim area wouldn't be fun for the kids as it was just a boat ramp (no sand). The fishing/boating docs were covered in goose poop. You can't really sit on the dock and fish. The property could use a good power wash.

Loved, loved this place. In town for a dog show but wanted a nice quite place to relax. Five Points hit the spot. Rooms were spacious, greeted warmly, quiet, nice view and access to the lake. Although I didn't prepare breakfast, they provide all the fixings. We will be back. Maybe we won't wait for a dog show!

We spent the weekend there and the cabin was very nice and clean. The management was very nice and came by daily to check on us. But on the negative side. First, the cabin was supposed to have access to the lake from the cabin, it didn’t due to dead trees and overgrowth. We specifically wanted that because some of us couldn’t walk very far to fish. We wouldn’t have taken the cabin if we new this before hand. Second, the upstairs bathtub jets didn’t work. Not really an issue for us but still a factor. Third, the lower bathroom sink took 20 minutes to drain. Fourth the kitchen sink faucets were broken. And fifth there was supposed to be satellite for the tv and it didn’t work. Even with these things we enjoyed our time together there, but if your going to charge these prices you should do the maintenance and be sure the cabin is what you represent it to be or don’t rent it. I can’t say I would recommend you to my friends or family.

The cabins at Five Points were exactly what we were looking for to get away and enjoy our family reunion. Dan and Skip were so helpful in getting us settled and keeping our cabin stocked. The cabins are comfortable, clean, and well stocked. It's the perfect place to feel far away from the urban life without being far away. We would definitely stay here again!

We loved this place. It was so nice and quite. Skip was the best host. He was so nice and friendly. A pleasure to visit with. We hope to get to go again this year. We were there celebrating our 40th anniversary. The cabin was perfect for 2 people. Putting breakfast fixins in the fridge was so nice. We loved the windows. We had never seen windows like that.

My wife and I snuck away for a weekend and stayed in a cabin. We were greeted by Skip. He showed us every detail of the cabin, suggested local attractions, and even showed us where we could find good parking. (Thank You) He also had fresh groceries in the fridge for us. Southern Hospitality exists here. We stayed 2 nights and just enjoyed how quiet it was. We even saw a bald eagle land a few trees away from our cabin.

Spent 3 nights here in a one bedroom. Beautiful location owner is really super nice. It's a cabin so the mosquitoes were there and there are cobwebs but I think that was part of the atmosphere? Unfortunately the bottom sheet didn't stay on the bed so we bought a set to use while we were there. Have numerous options for couples to large groups . Out of town feeling, very private, but in town.

Loved staying here! So relaxing & peaceful! Great place for a getaway from city life. ❤️
