This is by far the best brewery and tap room in the QCA. The beers are excellent and the staff are some of the coolest, nicest people I've ever met.

I like Central Standard and have visited there for many a burger over their time in Bettendorf. I hadn't as of yet visited Five Cities Brewing, however. Recent recommendations from work colleagues lead me to want to try a beer or two, such that tonight became the night to stop in. I was free and not on duty, so why not? The exterior of the space, even obscured slightly by the evening rain, is pretty fantastic. There's an outdoor seating area out front that's partially enveloped by large wood 4x4s draped with a few strings of decorative lights. In a warmer, less rainy part of the year, I could picture myself sitting on the patio with a drink or three in an evening. The interior aesthetic continues and evolves that of the patio. The floors are lined with darker wood laminate, the ceiling wood supports and HVAC ductwork are unobscured by a drop ceiling, and a mix of high top and booth seating is available throughout the space. The brushed stainless steel bar is prominent at one end of the space and contains a full view of the brewing equipment through a window in the adjacent space. The shuffle puck table and stack of board games further present an image of a place that not only wishes to provide fine artisanal libations to its patrons, but also invites them to have a bit of fun while they're visiting. I chose to sit at the bar and sip a Bikini Bottom Pineapple Wheat Ale and snack on some popcorn. The beer was a specific recommendation from a friend - a really great one, it turns out. This particular beer had the body and mouth feel of a typical wheat beer and a pronounced and noticeable sweetness and pineapple flavor, Al without any harsh notes or off flavors. If it weren't a work night, I could envision having one or four more of these. As I sat and sipped my beer, another important aspect of this space became prominent, namely the carefully curated noise level. The pop music wasn't really to my preference, but played at the chosen low volume, facilitates quiet conversation and contemplation throughout the space. No one was struggling to speak above the music, contributing to an overall low noise level. I wish more places kept this overall ambiance. I'd come back here again, especially to get food brought over from Central Standard. Their food is good, the beer here was great - a fantastic combination overall. Thanks for the good drink, Five Cities. I'll see you again soon.

Stopped here during a cross country road trip with my wife, our 2-year-old, and our 2 dogs. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The patio is very comfortable, and our dogs were at ease. We enjoyed our beers and the atmosphere.

Bartender was short & very unwelcoming. Stopped here after eating while on a double date. Mentioned we haven’t been here before. We asked for a cocktail menu and I understand it was a beer brewery but the females aren’t beer drinkers and most other breweries I’ve visited will have a small signature cocktail menu, I got a snotty response so I asked for what type of tequila they have, she simply points and said “these” and across the bar I’m unable to read and realize what the bottles are. It felt like she was upset that I was taking a few extra minutes to read the beer menu and the females were unsure what they wanted. I didn’t see the “order here” overhead sign that was 2 stools down from me as well when I did try to order, that seemed to annoy her as well. P.S. I approached this employee being polite and even stated this is our first time here. We were dressed well and respectful. Gave 2 stars because the pineapple wheat beer i had was the only enjoyable aspect of this visit. Over priced and poor service. “Hipster” type crowd.

First time at 5 Cities, they had a great Märzen and a solid Dark Lager on a side pull. Friendly staff and great service. If your passing through Davenport it's a good place to take a break. If you live here, it's a solid brewery to be proud of. Also great chicken nachos. One of the best cheese sauces we've had.

Excellent beer. We order food from Central Standard next door, and it's excellent. Our favorites are the brisket tacos and the brisket sandwich. Their hamburgers are also great.

Very nice brewery. I will definitely be coming back when in town either on business or leisure. Friendly staff and good brews. Trivia night is fun. Outside seating is nice (Probably better in the Fall season). Can't wait to come back.

Not really a true five here, but certainly far better than their sub 4 rating so far. This place has only been open for a few months so naturally there will be some kinks to work out, but as far as the beer goes, some very good pale ales and a fantastic NEIPA if you're a fan of hazy IPAs. Great space and very good service. Flights of five for 8 bucks.

Beautiful shelter with lots of room and tables. There is electricity if you need it. We used for a sound system that was provided by Crown King Karaoke. There is a nice playground area and small basketball court. Bathrooms are right there also.

Stopped into this clean and cute deli for the first time, and we loved our food! Something we appreciated a lot was that the various salads (potato, turkey, chicken) were very light and didn't have a overwhelming condiment flavor. The breads and soup
