My mom doesn’t eat meat and this place was perfect for her. She loved her meal and so did I. We came Halloween weekend and sat inside. They had candy for the kiddos and good food for us. At one point the music started blasting and everyone was confused, it was quickly corrected.
My plan is to come back with the Hubz to try their cocktails and non-vegetarian food (which I heard is amazing, too.) Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area.
My partner & I were on an afternoon walk & stumbled on this place, just south of the action on South Street. We are both nearly life long vegans & part of our thing is visiting plant based restaurants (not restaurants that have vegan options - but actual vegan spots!) We weren’t disappointed, the restaurant was so inviting, staff extremely friendly & most importantly, the food was dynamite! We had a mushroom + pasta dish, the meatballs, house fries & the kale salad, all of which were on another level in taste + quality. My girlfriend claimed it was her favorite meal she’s had in the USA. We will be back soon, thank you!
As of now Fitz might be the second best kosher restaurant in the world, a close second after the Michelin star rated Xerta in Barcelona. What you get at Fitz is nothing short of spectacular vegan cuisine. Start their seasonally changing menu with the Corn Ribs that will surprise you like seldomly a dish does, continue with the Beet & Pickled Colrabi Salad finished with a green goddess purée, followed by the Charred Taos Eggplant and Butternut Gnocchi. Ask for the traditional (non-milk) creme brûlée between the entrées and finish up your evening with a Fruit Crisp. Everything is made fresh on premise and rarely have we seen such a firework of tastes and complexity from such simple ingredients. That the cocktails are on a similar high requires only this sentence. Fitz is truly worth a detour.

Amazing neighborhood spot serving delicious vegan eats in a lovely chic light-filled space in Queen Village. There is truly something for everyone on this menu and the spot has a great vibe. Some of our favorites are the empanadas, seasonal pasta dishes, Nonnas meatballs and super fresh and yummy cocktails. We are so lucky to have this gem run by the cutest ever mother-son duo so close by.
Vegan food for all tastes: from the lean and fresh, to the hearty and indulgent. We especially enjoyed the nona “meatballs,” the artichoke and spinach dip, and the mushroom/elote tacos. We’ll definitely be back to try other items on the menu.
Important plus: The waiting staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and extremely friendly.
Let me just start off by saying BRAVO 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 The ambience, customer service, and food was top-tier! It was a late birthday treat for me, and I was much obliged. I had the crab cakes and the gluten-free fries…. Simple yet amazing 🤩 the drinks were bomb too! can’t wait to go back and try more treats off the menu.
Was able to get bar seating during brunch on Sunday and I’m glad I did.
Like most vegan places, this place puts a lot of thought and creativity into their vegan dishes. I tried the chicken and waffles, Mac and cheese, and my favorite the mushroom sandwich. Great combination of texture and flavor. Everything else on the menu looked good too.
Vegan or not. This is worth the try.
Just went there last night for the first time and just loved everything about this restaurant. Stepping in, just adored the ambiance and the vibe. Then our server was adorable and amazing. Ultimately the food and cocktails were tremendous. My friend is not vegan and she loved it too. We had the mushroom sliders, the risotto, Korean bbq tacos and the Fitz Green salad. Everything was incredible. I saw this restaurant featured on Philly Live last week and so glad I made the trip down into the city. Definitely will be returning!
A must stop if you are in Philly!!! Kevin's creations are incredibly delicious. Put down the cheese steak and go grab some tasty vegan, gf and dairy free options. Dessert=a meal. Back-to-back visits made us super fans!!! Pls open up a place in J-
Stumbled across when looking for a meal before heading into Jersey, and I was not at all disappointed. Matt was kind enough to recommend something with some real kick! The service was fantastic, staff were very kind and helpful. The Nashville hot san
Very helpful staff willing to explain how they make the food and whatâs in it. Theyâre making this food from scratch so everything came out amazing. The omelette blew my mind because I had essentially given up on a decent vegan breakfast outside
Got myself a chocolate shake and a buffalo chickân sammy. Both were great. Liked the slaw on the sandwich. The milkshake, although a little less chocolate-y than I would like, was good. Highly recommend this place for a plant based bite.
A unique hotel with history and a very nice decor to enhance any stay while traveling. We stayed there for a couple days during the New Year's Holiday and had a wonderful experience. Great location in the middle of the city, safe and close to everyth
Coffee here was amazing! The iced latte was great! The black coffee was something else! So fruity and aromatic - truly a great experience! Very much recommended getting their beans too!
Joined on a student membership for the summer and really enjoyed my experience. All the trainers were highly knowledgeable (and incredibly athletic) and made sure everyone felt welcome in the gym. When I was dealing with a shoulder injury, they were
Loved it! Small museum filled with interesting wood art. Free to enter and enjoy, but they really deserve a generous donation. We were welcomed warmly, introduced to the museum and offered a tour. The displays are well organized, the museum space
Great food, great prices, great quality. This is very fine Indian cuisine made with high quality ingredients and spices. Iâm mostly impressed at how fast the guy cooks, so if you are on your lunch break like I am, itâs great. You can also call
My husband and I came to Akwaaba Philly for the first time Labor Day weekend to celebrate our anniversary. We took the Amtrak train which was a quick 1hr ride from Baltimore. Additionally, it was a quick 10 minute Uber ride to the B&B. The place was
This studio is a special place. I entered the studio 7 years ago and I've been attending their classes ever since! Everyone is so warm and welcoming, amazing teachers, and butt kicking classes! They give refreshing lavender towels at the end of cl

I did an OBA class (drop-in) while visiting Philadelphia in January. I read some comments here that they're not "drop-in friendly", but that's not my experience at all!

The sound in Verizon hall... I have seen a good variety of performances here from Orchestra up to the top balcony and the back of the space. The hall is shaped like the inside of a cello. Opened in 2001 and updated in 2010, the sound is impressive. G
