The environment and all the equipment was really great! The guy Coby that showed my son and I around was very helpful and explained everything very well. We tried out a day pass. Just wasn't to sure about the prices, if the price would involve a family deal or if it's just by individual.

After spending the last 20+ years doing 12oz curls in my backyard, I finally decided to join a gym. After visiting Fitness 1440 in San Angelo I knew it was a perfect fit. Even though I came in with my beer gut hanging I felt very comfortable. The owners Chris and Cheryl introduced themselves to me the first chance they got, and Chris even gave me a few tips to get me started. With the help of the trainers and staff, I was able to drop some body weight and build some muscle. I would post pics, but you will need to visit my OF for them!

First time in. Our son paid us a week guest option. Clean appliances and plenty of space to work out. Large variety of equipment.

Top. I trained in two other clubs in San Angelo (though years ago) - one supposedly the best in town - but 1440 beats them by miles. First and foremost, 24/7 is THE plus. Also this club has gym mats, boxing bag, rings, soft surfaces, ropes, … plus all the usual iron machines - more variety esp. for calisthenics. The personnel is friendly and concise. I came to San Angelo just for a month - 1440 promptly answered my email and gave me a monthly membership for about 50 (which is a pretty fair deal all things considered). The club also looks clean and is spacey. One interesting feature for the future could be some kind of climbing wall - just an input, I know its easier said than done.

Fitness 1440 is the best gym in town!! Amazing gym environment. Very clean and has awesome equipment. The employees have a great attitude and are very helpful!! Great gym!

Very clean gym. Owners are great. Lots of great equipment with little no wait. Small sauna in each restroom is a nice addition.

Really like this gym. Has a great setup. Color combo is really nice and has a good pop to it. Lots of great equipment and a great use of the areas. Good kid of selectorized and plate loaded/free weights equipment. Owner is good guy. Live the place and will continue to go here anytime we r able to. I highly recommend coming here. Support local and not the big box gyms.

By far the best gym I’ve ever been to. Chris and the team are very friendly, helpful and strive to take care of everyone in any way possible. Hands down the cleanest and neatest gym around, all machines and equipment are in excellent condition, everything is always properly sanitized and safe. The community of people that use the gym also share the same efforts as the staff about keeping it clean and being respectful of the gym itself, and all other members. On top of the cleanliness, 1440 has very nice accommodations such as showers, kids club, and private training. Overall, I have been thoroughly impressed with not only the physical aspects of the gym, but also the staff and other members of 1440. 10/10 would recommend to anybody looking for the cleanest, friendliest, most complete and accommodating gym around.
