Tastes identical to original Chicago location. New location with nice modern decor for sitting and eating. Hopefully they will maintain the cleanliness over time. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the wait has not improved compared to the original location, but I wouldn’t complain—good food takes time! They may have been a bit heavy handed on the sauce but not a deal breaker. I had the sweet steak sandwich with fries on the side and added BBQ sauce (or what is commonly referred to in Chicago food joints - mild sauce.). The sauce was very good, it’s more on the sweet side with a slight citrus tang. It even has a hint of very mild pepper. The beef steak is chopped and drench in the sauce. The sauce was a requested addition served on the fries, which were natural cut with skin on.

I was pretty excited to try this place, specifically the steak sandwich, but was very disappointed in the end. If you saw this place and thought about Taurus or Home of the Hoagy...DO NOT GO HERE. The sauce is very similar, but the meat is hard, dry, and nasty. I've never had meat that was dry and covered in sauce at the same time. It tasted like it was cooked at 8am and then cooked again when I ordered. The meat was salty and seasoned with a spice I don't recognize or like..but seems similar to chicken bouillon. The restaurant was clean and the staff was pleasant

I heard about this place and drove from Joliet to see what the hype was about. Oh boy was it AMAZING! They did not disappoint. We had the steak sandwich, steak fries and the large hoagy. We also tried the Carmel cake. The food was amazing along with the Customer service the restaurant was clean. And I’ll definitely return!

I’ll start by saying 5/5 on everything. I heard about it previously. Stopped in but my bladder wouldn’t let me wait. So today I was driving by at 10:30 and noticed the lights were on and people were inside. I went to the door only to see they didn’t open until 11. As I walked sadly back to my car, a man who I found out was the owner came out and pleaded with me to return. I explained I was driving by on my way to the office and was going to pick up lunch. He asked what I wanted and I said I’ll take what I can get so I ordered a Hoagy…obviously no cooking involved. It was AMAZING!!! Fresh bread, quality meats and veggies and all the flavors I was looking for in a Chicago Hoagy. Establishment was very clean and it goes without saying the service was exceptional. Can’t wait to return to try the steak. Keep up the good work Fitchy’s!!! My pic is kind of suspect bc I couldn’t help but open in the car to take a bite.

The food and service were both great. I had the Sweet Steak Fries and my coworkers had the Sweet Steak Sandwich! I ordered over the phone around lunch time and my food was hot and ready within the 10 minutes it took me to get there! Will be ordering lunch more often.

So I wanted to leave this review to let others know about my experience upon visiting Home of the Hoagie so I believe this location is fairly to Country Club Hills I believe this is a franchise so I'll be quite honest with you I was a little hesitant with wanting to try this location and seeing that it is a franchise because in my experience I have noticed that at times franchise locations doesn't have that same quality taste as some of the other original locations so out of my busy day of running around for my son's birthday I decided to go to this location my wife has been wanting to try it so I figured she can live vicariously through me and the location actually is in a good location it's next to the Walmart it's next to the Marcus Theater it's right off the expressway a perfect spot to put this establishment. The staff was very nice The Establishment was very clean I would have the menu a little bit more visible but I do understand that they're just getting everything up to where they probably need it to be after recently opening up so no harm no foul on that I ordered a large turkey breast with onions oil vinegar pickles no Peppers no cheese I was really pleased with the overall experience I left a tip and that's big with me if I leave establishment a tip that means that I really felt my needs were met and I believe that they deliver world class customer service so after I get back to my truck I broke my sandwich inhalf and I ended up eating half of it. So I know you all are wondering how did it taste to be honest with you I have no complaints the submarine bread wasn't too hard it wasn't too soft the onions were amazing I believe that's what really makes the sandwich the onions were amazing the choice of turkey breast has such a fresh taste to it it wasn't still the aroma of the onions and oil and oregano really did his job I started to eat the other half in my truck but like I said I had things to do for my son's birthday but I can promise you I ate the other half when I got home then I was so mad because the sandwich was gone and I wish I would have got two lol but into conclusion please support this business I believe they're doing a great job I I am more of a unbeatable eatables kind of customer just because that's my to go to I love their sandwiches and their daily soups but I just became a new fan of Home of the Hoagie and I don't mind having a second sandwich place I'm really big on these reviews and it's never my business to kick any business down at all but I definitely love to share my experiences. This location deserves 10 Stars

I’ve been eating their hoagies since they opened. They are excellent, freshly made, and delicious. Every time I go one day, my hoagie is so good, I go back the next day😀💯🎈🥳

I am not a native to Chicago, so I had no idea what to expect. Everything about this experience exceeded my expectations. The restaurant was clean and the vibe was chill. The hoagie was absolutely delicious! Perfectly made! The customer service was unmatched. In these days where people act funny often, it’s nice to speak with someone who wants to help you. Def recommend and I’m def coming back!!
