The perfect sunset sail! The captain and staff were so friendly. Very calm vibe with just a few couples, we really appreciated a break from the heavy party atmosphere - while still having a glass of wine and beer! The sail is timed perfectly for the full sunset experience and there’s enough space to stand or sit all around the boat. Would absolutely recommend for a relaxing night on the water.

Only gave 5 stars because I can’t give more. Can’t say enough good about this outfit. Captain Marlin and his team provide a top notch, customer oriented fishing experience (among other services) in the Florida Keys. We ended up doing three charters during our stay over Christmas. Two times on the Max, which is a very family friendly boat that is fairly priced for 5 hours of fishing. My son and I also went offshore on the Reel Deal for 6 hours, that was operated by Captain Marlin and Casey. Dream team right there. We will definitely be back to go fishing with Fishmonster Charters.

We had a great experience. The crew was great. Caught my limit of yellow tails. I have been on other boats and this was by far the best all around. I feel bad not remembering all the crews members names. Luke was one and the others if you guys can remember the lady telling one he looks like or son. Excellent!!!

My family had a great time. We caught lots of fish. My daughter’s fish was even Facebook worthy. I was so glad that Max took the photo of her catch since I had my rod in hand and couldn’t manage to get the photo. Many thanks to Lou for unraveling my birds nest and thanks to Max also for noticing when my daughter started to feel a bit sea sick and he gave her a ginger lollipop. I have just a couple suggestions to give: Make more rounds with all guests. It seemed a few people were getting more attention and the better bait than others. I have never baited a hook before but was forced to because other guests were getting more attention and the rest of my family had there lines in the water. I only used the small amount of the better bait (some sort of fish) to bait my hook and it was minimal. Overall I would recommend them and I would do it again.

A giant puffer fish, hammerhead shark….. and some yellowtail snappers.. success on the high seas!! Our guides were amazing!! We wanted to go do some fishing while in Key West - these guys did not disappoint. Easy to book and you board right there in the harbor. Clean boat, safe captain, great guides and always there to help during our 5 hour fishing adventure. Costs about $120pp plus tip but well worth every penny. You can buy beers and snacks on the boat during the day and equipped with 2 bathrooms. If your feeling too hot, just step inside the AC Equipped main cabin and cool down. Highly recommend for you and your family - boat can accommodate 45, but that would be way too many... we had 22 people and it was just about right.

We have followed FishMonster on Facebook for years. When we planned our honeymoon trip this was my husband’s request to charter with. We walked the marina the day before our split charter and met Marlin. A super guy. Bodie and Brandon were on the Reel Deal with us and they were awesome! For 2 people the split charter was the way to go as it was much more affordable than chartering a whole boat. The second trip with them was on the FishMonster Max with Luke, Max and Andy. It was a little crowded but again we had an awesome time. Luke and Max were so accommodating working with my husband rigging up lines per my husband’s request to try to hook something big. If we come back to Key West we will definitely be booking with them again. Also, if you are just walking through A&B Marina, you can buy a cup of fish from FishMonster to feed the tarpons. If you are lucky you’ll see large bull sharks too!

Had a fantastic trip with Captain Chase and the Crew! Ben and Emily were a great help and actually caught a bunch of fish! Also part of a dolphin race back to the harbor! I’d highly recommend this trip. Best fishing trip ever!

If you are going to go deep sea fishing in Key West, this is your boat! This was our second time on this boat and we will definitely go again. Max was the most attentive and amazing deckhand, Capt. Cassandra and Emily in the galley equally amazing. Emily referred us to a Caribbean Island restaurant on Duval that prepared a 3 course family style meal for us that was unbelievable! Tip for ya, pay the extra $$ for stern seats you get 2 different options of fishing there.
