Fisherman's Cove Golf & RV Resort - RV park in Tavares - 3950 N Eichelberger Rd, USA

Very acomodating. Easy to make reservations. My friend called and made plans for both of our families and they were able to set us up with sites right next to each other. Which was great. We Will defenately visit again, allready planing for a longer stay so we can all enjoy all of what they have to offer. We only stayed for 2 night because we where attending a volleyball tournament nearby and had no chance to enjoy the facilities. But just site seing around saw how much we could do on a regular visit with more days to stay.

I have 4 stars because the rv park is nice and has a great view of lake Harris. However, the streets are a little narrow. Staff not very friendly and bathrooms not very clean.

Tried to book an RV spot this year with a beautiful RV conversion, a shuttle bus refinished with all hardwood, brand new RV windows, the works. Fisherman's Cove's official policy is that "an RV like that is too outdated" and "people don't want to stay next to trash." I was stunned, and left wondering, am I the trash, because I work in the performing arts and mentioned I'd be working at the Renaissance Faire they do locally? Or does Fisherman's cove think all conversion work is trash - because that would be strange, since they seemed like good folks, last time, and I've seen tons of pretty bang up work on bus to RV conversions. Does something become trash because it is from 2007? Only Fisherman's Cove RV park may know.

We were pretty surprised, and left wondering, do they think we're bad people, just because we work in the performing arts and mentioned we'd be working at the Renaissance Faire they do locally? We happen to believe that something only become "trash" if people fail to take care of it, not because it's from the year 2007. Was terribly surprised by the unkindness. Very strange. Edit: Nice to see from their reply that they decided to double down on the whole "we're better than you, buddy" rhetoric. That attitude is Anti American, anti hard work, classist, and gross.

Great little campground to stay at in Tavares. Nice pool and hot tub, 24hr fitness center, laundry facilities, and public use gas firepit and grills.

My 2 cents, this is our 4 th season here. This park is very clean and safe right on the lake. Everyone in the office have been great always helpful and will assist you in all your questions and needs. We keep our boat in the boat barn but they do have 2 outside Marina's. Being disabled these boat guys are great to always help in anyway they can. The maintenance crew are always busy and every year they add more landscaping to keep the park looking appealing. New club house furniture and new fire pits and grills to come, always activities going on. Today they installed a whole new work out room WOW is it nice next to the pool. It has a boat launch and plenty of dock space. Randy and his crew are always busy but will gladly help anyone. The spaces are concrete and lots of room. Hookups are easy. If you are looking for a park on the lake this is a great one great people come be part of the snowbird family

Nice spots. Good location. Boat dock. On the water. Bathrooms/showers are disgusting! NEEDS CLEANED SO BAD! Cleaning staff dont do a good job. When they went in to clean all they had was a toilet brush and spray cleaner. That place needs cleaned cleaned. Its like sticking a bandaid on it. Pool area could use some updating. Grout missing, dirty furniture, looks trashy. Cigarette ashes all over the pool furniture.

What a great RV Park. Beautiful sunsets. Nice pool, jacuzzi, and convenient to stores and restaurants. The lake chains are awesome. I wouldn't be able to have these great experiences without the friendly staff at Fisherman's Cove. I want to especially thank Kelly for her patience and professionalism. This is a very busy RV Park and in high demand. Kelly did a great job to help us to reserve our site!!!
