This is a great place for seafood. The service was wonderful, friendly, and accommodating. I ordered the Fried Gumbo Salad and it was LOADED with seafood — essentially a fried seafood platter over a salad (fried oysters, shrimp, crawfish, and okra). The pork chop was great too. But if you get nothing else, get the Praline Pecan Bread Pudding — like the bread pudding version of a pecan pie.
Overall excellent experience. Even though the restaurant was busy, our wait was very short. We order the crispy shrimp appetizer, which was delicious. We especially enjoyed the pepper jelly aioli. Our group ordered the pork chop, the ribeye, grilled shrimp, and blackened mahi with various sides like the Cajun mac n cheese, fried green tomatoes, fried okra, and parmesan potatoes. Each aspect of the meal was fresh and tasty. We will definitively be returning on our next trip to town.
Fisherman’s Corner has been a favorite for many years and never disappoints! Everything I’ve had is very delicious. It’s my first stop when I arrive in Perdido Key area. The Fried Gumbo Salad is my first meal every trip to the Coast. The Shrimp Diane is another fav! The fresh catch, fried okra, ev-er-y-thing is awesome. The final performance by the bread pudding will make you slap yo momma!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just got back. A long drive from Fort Morgan and well worth it. Had the lamb chop special in a red wine and rosemary reduction over roasted red potatoes. Outstanding!! Started it with a cup of gumbo and ended with the bread pudding. One of the most enjoyable meals I’ve ever had!!
Pork have to be fully cooked to be served. I have to stop eating it to avoid being sick. The waiter took it back and get a new grilled tenderloin but I am not feel comfortable to eat it. I am happily pay in full and never going back.
What an amazing place to enjoy food luke a local! Shane was our waiter and made our evening most enjoyable. Upon arriving the host was so kind and shared some history about the place and favorite dishes. Definitely worth our hour wait and all food made to order. We enjoyed a crab cake appetizer along with the fish dinner (mahi), shrimp and grits and key lime pie. The peach sangria was delicious! Thank you for making our last night of vacation so memorable!
All around was a meal. When we pulled up we had our concerns because was middle afternoon and of course no cars. But we went in and had a great experience. Suggest to all to go. Your traditional home town fish place.
First let me start with saying the bread pudding is a must have. It was absolutely delicious. For a “poor man’s” dessert they really gussied it up. Fried green tomato appetizer was very different but really tasty. My main course was the shrimp Dianne. It was a bit dry and not real flavorful. Service and atmosphere very nice. Perhaps a bit overpriced. The main course was $23 I’m thinking $15 would have been more reasonable.
