Our friends took us there for lunch and we enjoyed the food. My wife had the crab cakes and I had the clam chowder bread bowl. We thought it was a bit pricey for lunch, not a great value. We loved the location along the waterfront and nearby shopping. The service was just average at best. Their sign for free appetizer and dessert for veterans is deceiving. It's only one per table and not per vet. Though there were 2 of us.
This was a last min pick and I’m happy we decided on it. The wife had crab stuffed lobster and I got the 22oz ribeye. We liked both of them and would go back for more. Great customer service, food, and the view would have been nice if it weren’t so dark out. Be prepared for around $50 or more a plate if you want something good. I did read on the reviews that there was free parking but I didn’t see this. I paid for it and parked around the corner behind some buildings.
The restaurant is open to ocean and beach views. We went there for dinner on the last day of our trip which was also NYE. They had a huge cake assortment for dessert. Interesting cocktails.
Our first visit to Kona and the Fish Hopper. I must say, what a great choice for our first meal. The atmosphere is fantastic and the views incredible. The food was very delicious and the service was great. Many Gluten free options which helps me a lot. We plan a revisit before we leave
We were here on our last day for breakfast. Landed up here because I did not want to walk any further in search of a breakfast joint 😀 The restaurant is open to ocean and beach views. Swat anywhere and you can still have the ocean view. Not that expensive. The staff are welcoming and attentive. We ordered Pancakes and an omelet nothing fancy with their menu Overall I liked it.
Went here for brunch with my girlfriends and it was fantastic! The view was absolutely incredible, we got seated at the tables nearest to the ocean. The service was very quick and attentive. Two of us ordered the Dungeness crab Benedict and we also ordered the macadamia nut French toast with strawberries! It was SO good! Plus we got lilikoi margaritas and coffee. 10/10 brunch experience, definitely recommend!
I ordered five fish and chips to go. The portion seems small but once I started eating I realized no one would want a larger portion as the food was disappointing. My last hope was the clam chowder. I just needed a little satisfaction after spending $250 on fish that tastes way too fishy. My rating for the clam chowder, about a 2. I’ll try Umekes next time.
Award winning view! Award winning chowder, no really, it's that good! The Hawaiian Ono was light and tasteful. A great dish for the ladies. The Parmesan crusted Mahi was also light and delicate. Nicely sauced. Highly recommend coming for the view and enjoying the under rated entree's.

Kona Brewing CO Brew Pub is an excellent spot where you can enjoy ordering delicious food and pair it with a delightful glass of beer. Due to its popularity, be prepared for a wait, especially in the evenings. We began with the beer flight, a good ch
Another top notch restaurant right on the water overlooking the ocean and sunsets. Kate was a very new waitress, but did quite well trying to answer all our questions. I went with the pork chop with gravy, mushrooms and a side of white rice. It was s
The View really is THE VIEW. At the Kona Country Club golf course. On hillside looking west over Keauhou Harbor. The food especially fresh fish is incredible. I usually have blackened Ono over Caesar salad. Draft beer in frozen mugs. Kua Bay I
Expensive, but not terribly so. I had the Crab Cake appetizer ($18) two with Tropical Relish & Remoulade, which were delicious. I then ordered the Meat Lovers Flatbread ($18), which was very like a personal pizza, except it was very well appointed,
Kona free divers is awesome! We came in for full snorkel setups and Jackie was beyond helpful. We were able to try on loads of fins, masks and was given great guidance on what was going to work best for our next adventure. Highly recommend making thi
Had a couple of great dives with Kevin and Captain John! Due to weather, we had a couple false starts, but the crew was great and the office staff worked quickly to get me rebooked. Small dive groups, super comfy boat, amazing snacks! Would happily a

Great educational tour to learn more about vanilla and the intense care it requires. We also enjoyed the vanilla ice cream and the products in the shop. Highly recommend!
The coffee and croissant here are absolutely delightful. The decor adds to the overall charm, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for enjoying a meal with loved ones.
I found this gem while staying in Kona for a couple days. I'm so glad I did! The NY hoagie (sub sandwich) was super delicious, fresh and flavorful. Custom made cause I don't like tomatoes nor peppers. Christine is legit, an east coaster who knows aut
Fantastic neighborhood park with parking, clean bathrooms, and lots of grass. We walked up to the park from AliâI Drive and the walk wasn't too bad. We came on a slightly overcast morning and I would imagine the play structure will get hot on sun
Incredible all vegan menu, food is extremely flavorful and varied. Every dish we had was absolutely delicious and very different from each other. Price is fair, setting and atmosphere is a bit cramped but bright and inviting. Wait time was reasonable
