It's a piece of paradise in the middle of the city! A very great place to relax for a bit from the high speed living. Having a walk, riding in a bike or simply sitting down under the trees make you feel wonderful! Interesting child-style sculptures around, quote messages and a very strategic location, make it a better place!

Nice view of Pittsburgh North Shore somewhat. Very isolated off the roadway though, and once you enter back onto main roadway, be sure look left and step on the gas, drivers are fast on this roadway leading into Pittsburgh PA and the crosstown connection. Be safe.
A small green space in what can be a busy part of town. Nice place to relax, can be very busy during mornings and afternoons due to people traveling to and from work.
Great oasis on the edge of town, there are a few tables for eating lunch, some even usually have shade, and a handful of benches throughout. With low trees and winding paths, it's easy to get lost in your thoughts here. Well as long as you have headphones to block the noise of the city and don't mind the smell of smokers using most corners of the park.
Boring and seems unsafe too close to fast traffic
Firstside park is awesome. It is a small slice of peace and quiet. A place to enjoy some shade on a sunny day. A place where you can go and slow down while quietly reflecting on the days events. The landscaping is nice and the grounds are well maintained. There's even some strange statues and lawn art. I think that is what you call it. In my opinion Firstside park is a great place, morning, noon, or midnight. It would not surprise me if you decide that you liked it just as well.

There's a lovely community garden at this entrance that is ripe for picking vegetables (pictured below). Parking is also very close within a minute of walking.
Wicked cool. Movie in the pool once a month, playground is different than others which is great. Live music every Wednesday in the summer!

Beautiful place to hike jog ,and hopefully swim if the pool opens . There is a dog park ,duck pond volley ball sand court. As well as groves you can grill out in . Peaceful waterfalls

I always come here for the peace and quiet. Nice view of the river and the bridge. Great trails for riding. Access to the water for fishing. There's even a little island to go onto when the waters low.
Nice little park. It was clean and maintained well. They have a small parking lot, tennis courts, merry-go-round, swings, jungle gym, hills to roll down, rock wall (a legit wall made of stone) to climb on. My kids had a nice time.
