First time trying this local place out, pretty impressed. There are only two good places in Inverness area supposedly, this being one of them. Didn’t disappoint. I would give them an 8/10. I have had better, but also have had very worse.
Got some basic items to try this time. Will have to explore the menu out a bit more next time. Food tasted like good quality takeout, the employees were prompt and polite.
Placed my order online, they called me when I arrived in the parking lot just as the time-estimate for pickup was—so they made the order in great timing, no false guess-timate or waiting around.
Prices were very fair, food was pretty good, I think I just need to try a couple more items for me to really be sold on this place.
The Szechuan beef was the best thing ordered, veggies mixed in were great texture-wise and the sauce was AMAZING. I will have to try the chicken version of it next time.
Only suggestion for the restaurant would be for the chicken fried rice to have the veggies tossed or cooked with the rice/chicken longer so they absorb the flavor. The chicken and rice tasted like boiled chicken, topped with cooked peas/carrots. Still pretty good though.
Consistency of the lo mein was very good. The flavor I couldn’t put my finger on. Maybe a slight peanut-taste? Not bothered, just couldn’t figure it out.
The egg roll and the spring rolls I got were fine. Good textures and flavors as anticipated. Always good choices as apps.
Will come back again, wonderful service. Excited to explore the menu. Thank you First Taste for the great experience!
Worst Chinese I think I've ever had, pupu for 2 was not good in the slightest. Everything's dry and seems to have been sitting around all day. I don't know how ya can mess up general tso's but they did, chickens got very odd texture and rice is dry. 3rd time there and it's consistently not good food, won't be back.
Been wanting to find some good Chinese take out in the area and found this place from Google.
At first glance, I wasn't sure they were open. The shopping center only has a couple open stores as it seems the anchor stores have left .
Luckily, they were open and friendly enough.
There were two of us and we both got the lunch special. One was shrimp and broccoli, the other one was beef and garlic sauce.
The shrimp was good, and decent size, 5 total. The beef was soft and had only one or two chewy pieces. Better than most take aways.
The main issue was both were kind of dry, with hardly any sauce. The special comes with a can of soda as well, but we had to ask for it and was directed to a cooler with 3 choices. Coke, Sprite, or orange. No diet soda. The rice is the yellow pork fried style, and was fresh.
If in the area, maybe would try again and see if it gets any better, but wouldn't make a special trip.
You can eat inside if you like, but the seating is limited to a couple tables like you'd expect from similar places and really designed for carry out.
The tofu dishes are amazing
I ordered the C11 chicken and garlic sauce first off the sauce had absolutely zero flavor looked like water in bottom of dish. My girlfriend ordered the C14 sesame chicken meal which didn’t have any sesame seeds on it no flavor and chicken was rubbery.
very disappointed !!! will never waste money on this place again . First taste huh will definitely be my last taste .
The shrimp chow Mein was like water. No flavor. Pork Fried Rice again not flavor and had green peas added, first time ever seen peas added.
Predictably good every single time. We've tried all the other Chinese restaurants in town, nobody comes close to theirs!
Chinese food isn't my favorite food but if you like it , i recommended this place

Really cool park off the Withlacoochee bike trail. The park has trails to walk or ride. Restrooms and picnic areas available. There's a small fee to enter the park $2 per cyclist if entering from the bike trail. It's definitely worth the fee if you w
Cooter Pond Park is definitely one of the best things that happened to that area. It's Fall, ð I knew that everything would be changing colors, so I decided to drive over there to capture it.

The trainers are fantastic. They are the reason I workout at AF. Iâm a senior and attend at least two team classes per week. Akin to a boot camp, these classes are challenging and combine weight training with cardio. The trainers conduct a warm
Just a great, friendly bar with a welcoming atmosphere and super staff. Packed on the Friday night we were here. Great place to hang out, drink, eat and meet folks!
This is a really nice WMA. We went on a weekday, and so we pretty much had the forest to ourselves. The forest is beautiful and set aside the aerial traffic above, it's a quiet, peaceful place. The roads are good for hiking or biking. We stayed on th
