This escrow company is a mess. They waited until my rate lock had almost expired before they did any work on the refinance. They did not communicate directly with me only with the lender that I was refinancing through— even though escrow is literally the neutral third-party. They are lazy, do not honor their fiduciary duties, and are unprofessional. Look elsewhere. You can ask for a different escrow company.
