This is an outstanding hotel! The beds were very comfortable, the room was spacious and clean. We were on the ground floor, and there was a small patio area with chairs outside each room (the upper levels had a balcony). The pool and hot tub were great (we used the indoor pool, but the outdoor pool looked wonderful as well). The breakfast was fulsome and the staff constantly refilled items. It was listed as a "grab and go" so we took our food on trays back to our room.||We stayed here during the Laconia Bike Week, and though the hotel was completely booked (with a lot of bikers, such as ourselves), it was quiet and I never felt crowded. The location is beautiful, I would definitely stay here again.
Booked on their website, read positive online reviews and thought it seemed like a good deal. Arrived and they had changed my room and instantly charged almost $200 extra on credit card. Still hasn’t gone through. We were given a different room as we requested a king size bed, it was a suite and honestly when you are just going for a few nights a full kitchen isn’t needed. We wanted a place with whirlpool, the website said they had two, they had one it was broken. The indoor pool was filthy. There was giant hair balls on the deck I almost threw up after swimming for awhile. When leaving the pool the same desk person was dealing with another person who’s room was changed. Breakfast was a huge joke, bad breakfasts make this one look good. They didn’t have what they said they would and the breakfast sandwiches weee to be brought back to your room to microwave. Felt like a lot of scams going on here and hopefully I will get my refund at some point. Have check out in the morning and expect more BS.
This hotel is extremely outdated and not the cleanest. The carpet was stained and grimy. There was trash and food behind the nightstand, stains on the walls and the bathroom sink was dirty. Beds were uncomfortable and pillows were lumpy and useless. The electrical outlets did not work and the ice machine spit out 4 ice cubes. Deck chairs were old and rusty. The front desk staff were very nice, friendly and accommodating. Location was great. Definitely not worth the $500 for 1 night. Very disappointing stay.
Check in was a breeze. I have stayed with you a couple times over the past 5 years, I will say this was the most uncomfortable stay I have had in a long time. The hotel security made my guest and I feel like we were under constant supervision. One example: My guest and I wanted an escape from the heat and loud noise after a concert. Our balcony was blasting hot air from the ac and horribly loud, so we walked down to the court yard outside of the pool area that closed at 8pm. We sat down and immediately had security personal tell us to go back to our room. I was flabbergasted by this but did not make a fuss because we were exhausted from the long day. Another thing I noticed was that I woke up with a very sore throat and feeling sickly. I would recommend making sure your AC units are cleaned regularly. Not sure if I will book here again. The accommodations and comfort 1-2 stars for this outdated overpriced hotel and for the price of the stay I do expect more.
My group had two adjoining rooms. The rooms were spacious, clean and well kept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is just off the road and set back in a quaint location. Great country side location. There is a great restaurant and convenience stores across the street. There is a basketball hoop onsite which we took advantage of. Half of my group went into the outdoor pool (other half of group was still sleeping). We did not use the indoor pool but both pools were also clean and kept up with. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back.
Could be so much better with a refurb to the rooms. The staff (helpful, friendly, responsive) and cleanliness were exceptional. The location was great too, especially if you’re attending an event at the Pavilion. Walking distance. Room was outdated. Old carpet. The bed & pillows uncomfortable. No privacy if your room faces the front as people can see in the room with the curtain open. No fan and a drop ceiling in the bathroom. With improvements it would be great.
Had an amazing rest at Fireside Inn. Beds felt so comfortable.
Downside water in sinks were merky. Daughter drank it and she was fine.
Pools were amazing. Wish they were open 24h. But I get 10pm is still really late.
Breakfast was very good. And Service had smiles and helpful info.
Would recommend the fireplace suite and was average priced for a weekend get away.
Went to a concert at the pavillion and stayed at Fireside. After the concert I wanted to take a shower and no water for a shower. Too late to do anything and just went to bed. Next morning no water in shower and now no water in toilet. Maintenance was sent but then disappeared. Only compensation was a letter of apology and asking to be given another try. Place should have been shut down and no I will not give you another chance. Terrible experience.

Such a pretty beach! We went on a weekday and the beach was well groomed and not busy at all. There's a nice, good size playground for the kids. Bathrooms are well maintained and outhouses available if after hours. I need to frequent this state park
Holy cow this park is beautiful! One of the highlights of the area. The view is just breathtaking. Pictures only give a taste but certainly don't do it justice.
Decided to come here for lunch. Docked the boat right in front of the restaurant. The place has a great atmosphere and offers a variety of sandwiches. Canât beat a view on the water. Service was great!
I ordered the pork belly sandwich and it was
Friendly service, the food tasted great. The salad was fresh. Good portions. The restaurant itself was super clean and welcoming. I will most definitely be back.
