Having just moved to the area from out of state, this park was such a gem to find. The equipment all feels very new and updated, the splash pad area is spacious and is well laid out. Super super fun!
First time coming here and I was really impressed. It's an excellent beach that is adjacent to a park.
Back today, June 2022 and we actually saw lots of people enjoying the water park.
I wanted to bring my dog but pets weren’t allowed. However, when we were there some folks just on the other side of the chain link fence had their dog swimming in the same water and no one said anything so maybe there’s a loophole on the other side of the fence.
We arrived at 4 and the slide was open for 5 minutes. They closed it for the evening after that so my daughter never got to go down. Then she jumped off the diving board once and they closed that too. At 5 they
Took down all their tents and gear and said the beach was closed but if we wanted to keep swimming it was at our own risk. That’s fine, but why does it say everywhere that a lifeguard is on duty til 6 every day then? It was a little disappointing because then my daughter couldn’t do the things she wanted to do. Oh well. It was nice to swim and it’s a lovely park too. The splash pad is large but the water is freezing! It didn’t seem to bother my kids though :)
Very good place to go on the summer afternoon with kids. The beach is clean with splash pad next to it. Wonderful place to have family picnics and get-together with kids. Located near Verona and have a splash pad for kids to have unlimited fun. There's a slide on the beach as well to have fun with water.
Splash pad, playground, and beach are all great for kids! The splash pad water is very cold, so it's not enjoyable if it's cool out, but it's perfect for hot summer days!
Love this, been to alot worse. This place is in my top 3. Easy acess and they have a splash pad for kids, bathrooms, picnic tables, water slide, and diving board. Life guards on duty until 5:30-6. Very nice park/beach.
Nice family friendly place to visit. There's places to picnic,fish,canoe,swim,a children's playground and splash pads along with clean bathrooms.
This has been my favorite beach thus far this summer. It's deep enough to where there's a diving board, which is extremely fun and a slide. Next to it is a splash pad. It's Got the whole package!!

We parked here and hiked the ice age trail Verona segment (6.5 miles one way). Dogs are welcomed and must be on leash. Some parts of it is quite muddy, so come prepared. Beautiful hike with changing views.
This is the dog park we go to when we want our dog to play with other dogs! The field is great for dogs to run around. In recent years, it seems like they've figured out how to avoid getting big mud puddles, which is a huge plus.
