I was driving through town and stopped for lunch. It was a great little local spot that has fresh food at a reasonable price. I got the Messy Piggy and freshly cut fries for lunch. It was a delight, and next time I'm in the area, I am planning on trying something else. The restrooms were clean, and the service was quick and friendly. If I was not working, I would have got a beer as they had a nice selection on draft. If you're thinking about this, please go ahead and give it a try. Stopped during a motorcycle ride. Only one waitress (the bartender) had to serve the busy restaurant. We did feel bad for her and she handled the stress well. Got there just as the lunch crowd was ending. Waited a hour and half for food. We ordered the cheese steak sandwich, greasy and gross. Chicken fingers, typical frozen bar food. And the fries, nearly blackened and dirt taste. 6 people in our group and not one of us enjoyed our lunch. I've ate at other Firehouse Grills and they were good. Not sure if this one is in said franchise. Nice environment and clean. But the food was not good. Would not recommend or return. Sorry, when you spend good money today, you should expect good food.
We ordered the Smokehouse salad and Greek spinach salad. They were both amazing!
Food was excellent! Service was great! Worth the 25 minute drive! If you are in Malvern give them a try!
Great food, big servings, friendly people. Nice local restaurant and bar. Glad they're there.
The Firehouse Grill is a small town bar and grill. The kind of place where everyone seems to know everyone else. It's not overly large, but big enough for a group of six or eight, but plenty of booths for private dining. It seems to be a clean, well kept little bar and grill. I've been to the Firehouse grill three times as I post this review. I've always been there for their Thursday night rib special. Let me tell you, their ribs are worth driving to the small town of Malvern for. I intend to go back to try some of their other specials on other nights in the future. If you're looking for something off the beaten path, come check this place out.
