Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - American restaurant in Frederick - 5201 Buckeystown Pike, USA

We came here on a Wednesday night around 5:30 with a party of 5. We were seated quickly. We were served promptly. We had the wings and deviled eggs (pictured) for our appetizers. Both were gobbled up. The wings were big and fried nicely. I had the pork chop ( also pictures) and carrots. The pork chop was delicious. The carrots were a little spicy for my taste, however I am very sensitive about spices. My wife thought the hot honey on them was really good! My wife had a pasta dish that she really enjoyed. I always appreciate attentive service and our server did great. She was charming and provided great suggestions. The manager also came over to check on us a couple times. It was my son’s birthday and they gave him some delicious cheesecake. My wife and I shared the carrot cake. It was very (almost to the point of not being cake) and we finished it off!

Incredible and delicious food. Steak was amazing and I suggest trying it with the mushroom blue cheese sauce. Sirloin was tough for a medium and they had no problem fixing the issue immediately. I actually went twice in the day. Lunch time at the bar was a bit chaotic but dinner time at the bar was wonderful..I definitely suggest having 2 bartenders during lunchtime when it's busy however the manager stepped in to help a little which seemed like great teamwork.

I highly recommend this restaurant. This time I got the Firebirds Chicken Pasta and it was so good. Everything on the menu is flavorful and tastes amazing. The staff and service is always quick, prompt and attentive. Huge shout out to Beth and Ray who really took care of us our first time we visited the restaurant. Thanks for a great experience!!!

This is one of my wife's favorite restaurants! Ths atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the service was even better! Our waiter, Justin, was attentive and very helpful. He knew the menu and answered the questions we had. We also never had to ask for drink refills as he was always there with a new glass when appropriate! Positive experience and highly recommend!

Made a reservation and no delay when we arrived! Bravo for each margarita. Great service - Joaquin (forgive me if I butchered the spelling)! Impeccable timing from cocktails to bread to apps to entrées to dessert and recommendations were on point. Decor was lovely. It's a really spacious location.

Walking into the restaurant, I was greeted by every employee with real, great, genuine smiles. Even when seated, employees who walked past the table greeted me and other guests. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable of all their dishes. I ordered the Cajun Porterhouse with Port Mushrooms and Broccoli. Topped off with a long island ice tea to wind down the evening. Though I accidentally knocked over my drink, the server got me another and took over the cleanup of my mess. She further advised that it was her job to clean the mess and my job to relax. Though I totally disagree with that, I did what I was told and enjoyed myself. The steak was cooked to medium rare perfection as I love my steaks and seasoned very well. Yes, the mushrooms in the Port Wine sauce and the broccoli were also very delicious! I will make a 2 hour ride just to enjoy the ambiance and the great food!

Not a super huge fan of the food at this restaurant. It’s not cheap and I don’t think I got what we paid for. I understand that it’s a wood fired grill place but just about everything was crunchy down to the steak. I ordered a simple cheeseburger and it didn’t have a very good taste. Tasted burnt. Philly cheesesteak rolls were crunchy. They didn’t taste terrible but I wouldn’t order them again if I come back. Bread CRUNCHY! Had to eat the middle of it. Moscato wine was great. But this place does card you and your card cannot be vertical or they may not be able to serve you alcohol even if you are old enough to drink. Waitress was great though. Very attentive and willing to fix the issues we had with our food.

This was our first time here and we were very pleased. The decor was trendy and the tables were spaced our nicely. Our server was attentive and the food was outstanding. Great overall experience!!
