The Firebird Motel at the corner of East Lincolnway, and Logan Ave in Cheyenne is a small town motel in a larger city for southeast Wyoming. It is currently an underdog for it's location, but strives for greatness in a neighborhood that has commonly been known as a negative element in our community. Strong family values, and the will to succeed in driving out the negatives to keep our neighborhoods clean and safe is a welcome, and all too necessary change that the local environment is very excited to see!! They are constantly remodeling, and renovating to make your future stay more comfortable! Please let the newer, and more friendly staff know if you have any concerns or recommendations! It's nice a quiet place to stay the people that own it is very nice people the place is clean I love saying here it's right close to restaurant and pharmacies with in walking distance there is also loaf jug right across the street from the motel.

My room was filthy when I checked in, there's an open hole in my bathroom where the fan should be, there's no lock on my window, and the only lock on the door was the automatic lock door handle, which was easy to pick. Within the first 15 minutes of me checking in, someone tried to pick the lock on my door. The "housekeeping" creep knocked very lightly once and then just opened my door and tried to come in while I was getting dressed after a shower. The owner knows absolutely no English whatsoever, and I had to get an interpreter to get anything done. My shower curtain was disgusting, and it took them four days to get me a new one. There's always someone fighting and yelling, and the police have been called numerous times. They are charging $1500 dollars for this room per month, with zero amenities. Definitely would not recommend, unfortunately it's the only place I could find at the time, so I didn't really have a choice.

At checkin, I asked the lady if she can give me a room with parking lot view because I have important stuff in the car. Then I got a room with a good view of my parked car which was great. But the room's toilet was not working, there were no running water. I went back and asked if I could have a room with working toilet. Then she got mad and refunded my money. I asked her if she can give me different room and I don't mind paying. She started to scream and told me to leave. I was in shock and told her that I can show her the problem with the room she assigned me. She replied that she knows.

I’ve stayed here for a while due to work and their low rate. During my stay I’ve never encountered the laziest housekeepers. All they do is change your towels and garbage can liners. Nothing else and if you ask they ask why they need to do that. Along with the terrible housekeeping be warned if you find out you get to leave sooner than expected don’t expect them to honor their refund policy they have posted in their hotel lobby. I tried saying I wanted to only pay for 5 nights and was apparently ignored and charged for a week anyway. Went back to get a refund for the two nights and was told no refunds were given. Even tho it clearly states you’re to be refunded the remaining balance of nights you don’t stay. They also have signs about no pets yet three guests have dogs and younger random druggies knocking on your door at night. Avoid this place!

Not the worst motel I have stayed at. The room wasn't clean. It had bad stains under the sinks from where the water just kept dripping. There were smoke stains on the walls by the bathroom with brown drips running down the wall from where the steam from the shower had hit it. Again, overall not the worst Motel I've stayed at but it definitely was not clean or kept up.

I'm giving this place one star, hesitantly. . . This has to have, quite possibly, the rudest staff I may have ever encountered. I just gave a friend a ride to rent a room, and after they rented it, I helped them carry their belongings to the room, and right away, the staff came over and tried to demand extra money for an extra person. Even though I was only going to be there for a few minutes, my friend paid for an extra person. Then, after being in the room for less than fifteen minutes, the manager came over and using his key, without knocking, entered the room, started scolding us, saying that he needed to ensure that the room was not being destroyed. I strongly suggested that my friend ask for a refund, because obviously, there will be no privacy or basic respect given there.

I had a feeling this was not going to be a great room, and I was fine with that since it probably was one of the few rooms left available in town during the Eclipse period, and the room was about the price of a normal Super 8 rate (I would expect under normal conditions, this place would be a lot cheaper). However, I was still shocked at its filthy and broken down condition. The window did not have a lock on it, meaning anyone could open the window and climb on in. The carpet was the most stained I have ever seen, and I had to unplug the cable unit for it to reset so I could watch TV. The room also smelled quite bad. The sheets were clean but had a hole or two. The bed was super uncomfortable (thin mattress I guess). There are also cans outside what appears to be almost every room filled with cigarette butts. About the only thing positive I can say is the Air conditioning worked well, and again they had a room available. Do not stay here unless you are desperate for a room (I was!).
