This place is delicious and amazing!! Our cooks, Juan and Johnathan, were super friendly and recommended many great flavor combinations!!! I highly suggest you have them make for you the shredded beef hamburger and Philly cheese steak!
This place does not disappoint! There are so many flavor combinations! A must try when in the area! The cooks are super friendly and put on a great show.
Tyler was our server and was extremely attentive to us! Make sure to ask for Tyler! Overall, great experience!!!
I came for lunch and was not disappointed. You choose your own ingredients and the chefs cook your food in an open circular area making the experience interactive and fun. The ingredient choices were plentiful and the final dishes were great. There is also plenty of seating inside and outside giving you even more choices and the service was fantastic. This place should definitely be on your places to try out.
Food was delicious! The chefs were friendly and took care of me for my food allergy. The flavors were incredible. We will be back next time we visit Tahoe!
Definitely not the buffet experience I was looking forward to. The website description is misleading. The buffet side of the restaurant is done in a Mongolian style. As in, you grab your ingredients and then give your bowl of goods to the person at the grill, to cook it. There is a salad bar as well. A regular salad bar. Just salad. No soups. No desserts. Just salad at the salad bar.
The website mentions Latin and Italian foods for the buffet. I suppose that is because there are jalapeños and pasta noodles offered for you to scoop up and add to your bowl, to get grilled.
The tables did also house menus with the salt and pepper shakers. I did not look at the menu, because I was there for a full buffet experience.
It was a very slow time, being late-morning on a Wednesday, so the service was prompt. The restaurant was clean.
Mongolian bbq place, but I’ve never seen the operation run this terribly.
The raw food is messy. The food is overflowing from the bowls, mixing with each other. If you have any kind of dietary restrictions (e.g. no pork) you are F’d.
I’ve been to other Mongolian bbq places but this really is above and beyond terrible. The food line is hilariously long and the portion sizes are terrible. You’d be lucky if you can get two tiny plates in an hour. The food line intersects with the door to the restroom and kitchen. There’s constant shuffling and bumping.
The kids don’t understand the rules so they stick their hands in the raw food. It’s nasty.
The sauces are contained in open containers in the drawer. Does not seem safe.
The food itself is mediocre at best as well. I’d rather have protein bars than this.
Fire + Ice is located in The Shops at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe, with a connecting door to Marriott Vacation Club where we were staying. What a delightful surprise we found inside this very busy restaurant. There are two option for dining: appetizers and bar-type food, which are served ONLY on the patio out front; or the Signature Grill Experience, which is served inside. That was our choice. Once you are seated and the host explains the process, diners go to--in my terms--"the raw food room" where each station has options for guests to choose what to have stir-fried. There also is a salad bar section. For the stir-fry, diners have the option of traditional Asian fare, Mexican-type selections, even Italian and American options. After sanitizing your hands and pulling on a disposable kitchen glove, you fill your metal, round bowl to the brim with your food selections, then, using a separate smaller bowl, select your sauces. Next, you take your food and stand around a massive, round flat-top grill where skilled chefs cook your food and then serve it to you on a dinner plate. Fantastic, fun, delicious. Dinner was $32/pp; lunch is $21/pp. Not sure what the difference is as we were there for dinner. Will definitely eat there again the next time we're in Tahoe.
Fire + Ice is a fun and interactive dining experience located in Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe. The restaurant offers an all-you-can-eat grill where you can choose from a variety of fresh ingredients to create your own custom dishes. The grill is staffed by experienced chefs who will cook your food to order right in front of you.
The food at Fire + Ice is generally good, but not great. The ingredients are fresh and the dishes are cooked well, but the flavors are a bit bland- get the teriyaki sauce for addition flavor. There are a few standout dishes, such as the grilled salmon and the steak, but for the most part, the food is just average.
The service at Fire + Ice is friendly and attentive. The wait staff is happy to help you choose your ingredients and cook your food to your liking. The restaurant can get crowded, especially on weekends, but the staff does a good job of keeping things moving.
Overall, Fire + Ice is a fun and casual dining option in South Lake Tahoe. The food is good, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. If you're looking for a unique dining experience with a bit of entertainment, Fire + Ice is a good choice.
Sep 2023: Was here for drinks mostly on a chilly Labor Day in Tahoe. Bartender was friendly. Made us strong drinks. Fire Ice_T and a Margarita with an espresso Martini. Chili fries was tasty. Parking in the lot opposite.

The place is really nice, the water is crystal clear but very cold. It's worth it to pay the $5.00 fee to see this beautiful place. In the middle of it there's an old house, scary but beautiful.
Went with my daughter and husband and came from the heavenly line since the wait at the resort was 2 hours! They helped us right away and we were able to get all the equipment we needed in a reasonable time frame. The staff are super friendly and acc
Beautiful hike to Eagle Lake that took about 30 min after the bridge. This time of year there was snow and ice on the trail that made it slippery but was worth the quick trip up and back.
Took this trail to go to Cascade Falls. It's flat for the first 5 mins or so and then becomes rocky and risky at the corners.
There is some construction work going on in the area so they have put up temporary boards marking the trail. Good job!
