A bucket list sandwich shop for sure. House of quality is an understatement, every ingredient, on every sandwich we got was extremely fresh and added an extra level of flavor.
We got a chicken cutlet and Italian sandwich but everything on the menu looked incredible. Everything is made right in front of you so you know you’re getting the best.
Will stop here anytime I’m in the area.
Place is always top notch. Third time here and finally got the Saturday Roast beef with gravy. So lovely. Their mutz really is something special and next level. The guy behind the counter kept giving me slices as my Sammy was being prepared. Truly appreciated. It was nice to taste the mutz purely. So perfectly balanced with the nice lightly salted exterior. Yummy.
Roast Beef Special with gravy and hot peppers on the side. The best. There is no menu in here so know what you want before you order. Anything with mozzarella is good. Friendly staff too. Love it here.
We visited this place for the Thursday specials after seeing many positive reviews.
The sandwich tasted good, but I don’t think it was good enough to come from Manhattan and taste it. The meat was tasty but since they put very little sauce the bread was quite dry contrary to what you can see in the picture.
And we didn’t think that mozzarella would be famous, it was a dry random mozzarella.
Went here for the famous roast beef mozzarella special, didn’t fully live up to the hype for me. Beef was bland and bread was hard to eat. The only reason this place was three stars for me was the mozzarella. Let me tell ya, it’s literally the freshest mozzarella you will taste in your life. Absolutely amazing and def the saving grace for the sandwich. Gravy had a nice flavor and made the beef easier to eat as well.
With all that said I wouldn’t really come back unless it’s for a traditional cold sandwich with that fresh mozzarella
Classic Takeout spot, be prepared, cash only, no menu, but quality old school Italian deli.Mozzarella is to die for and I really loved their hot peppers- hot without being sweet, my fav. Oh and they have parking!

I liked it, but, the bread was not very crispy even though they used baguettes. And the sauce could have been more. I say it is worth trying once at least because of the fresh ingredients and portion.
This place is amazing. Like so incredible. I think about the roast beef quite often.
