Finnegan's Marin Restaurant & Bar - Bar in Novato - 877 Grant Ave, USA

This is my favorite restaurant in Novato. They have great food, great service and even better drinks. I’ve only been disappointed with one dish, and that would be the impossible burger. It was horrible. The split pea soup, the mac & cheese, and arugula salad is all amazing. For dessert, they have bread pudding, although I believe it’s microwaved.

One of best places on Grant Avenue. I had the Goff Burger. Delicious! And the dessert, yummy!

Nice pub with live music and open late. People dancing and having fun. Very nice vibe. Great find while travelling. I hope to come back soon again. The food was great! I see some other people complaining about the food. It was not our case. The strogonoff was delicious!!

I had the corner beef and eggs for dinner and it was very good. The corner beef was cubed, a nice difference than usual corner beef hash. We got a mix of waffle fries, kids chicken and vegetables and kids pasta. The waffle fries are probably the best I've had or very close to the best. My wife didn't care for the smoked cauliflower, she said it tasted like it was artificially seasoned but I liked it. It'd be nice if they had more local beers on tap and a better variety but overall a good selection.

Alex was/is fantastic! Lovely and attentive bartender! The food was fantastic, I love the corned beef sliders. The drinks were amazing. I love everything about this place, I will definitely be returning!

The chicken dish was very flavorful. The white meat a bit chewy. Good flavor overall. Service lacked attention at times, buy my waitress was kind and we had a nice chat.

First time here and won't be my last time before I leave Novato! Solid food and drinks for sure. Love the rustic vibe it has maintained in the decor and all the original wood. Lots of items of interest on the menu. For starters, Old Fashioned with Basil Hayden was on point! Smoked Cauliflower was interesting to say the least. Not a fan, at least for me. Definitely smoky in taste but it over powered the Cauliflower. Prob won't order that one again. The Shepard's Pie was good. Seasoned well. Carrots were a bit under but not a big deal. Loved the salad it came with too! Sampled the Pot Roast which was legit good so I'm coming back for that. A great local place in Novato. Parking close by could be a challenge but there are plenty of spots within walking distance. Do stop by if in town! Long story short... good food, good drinks, good vibe!

Our experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. It took them 15 minutes to even take our order, despite the place not being very crowded. To make matters worse, it took another 30 minutes for our drinks and appetizers to arrive, leaving us famished for a total of 45 minutes before we decided to leave. The food quality was abysmal. The nachos they brought as an appetizer seemed stale and reheated, far too greasy and heavy for an appetizer. I couldn't eat anything for the next four hours. What's even more frustrating is that no one from the staff offered an apology. I have no intention of ever returning to this restaurant.
