Finlen Hotel and Motor Inn - Hotel in Butte - 100 E Broadway St, USA

Extremely clean room. Extremely quiet. Extremely comfortable bed. Marvelous lobby. Free parking. Would have been even better had there been a restaurant, or had the bar been open (we were there on a Tuesday), but this ain’t no perfect world. Butte is an amazing city and if you are planning on spending a night, this is the place to stay in order to feel what it was like when this was THE town.

We stayed in a motel-inn room. It was nice and comfortable. Very good bed. The bathroom had good water pressure.|The location is good for historic Butte, but the area was surprisingly Calmeyer. There were very few options for dinner within walking distance, and we didn’t find anywhere open for breakfast in the morning. The lobby in the hotel was lovely and well preserved, but the bar was closed and there were no breakfast possibilities. The area was good for walking though if you want to see the buildings in the center (many quite beautiful)

We wanted to stay in the historic district and walk around after being in the car all day. Our room was in the motor court part of the motel. The room was clean and very retro. It was also priced way too high for this style of room. There is no lounge or breakfast available. Pretty bare bones accommodations. Next time we’ll save the cash and stay close to the highway.

We’ve stayed at the Finlen more times than I can count! The nostalgia of the historic building and unbeatable location make it the perfect destination. The rooms are impeccably clean and the staff is friendly.

Didn't get a room, went to check out the lounge and " ghost hunt ". The place is awesome and has a fantastic history and the staff was very accommodating to our requests.

A preserved hotel in downtown Butte. The lobby shows good bones, well maintained. The rooms are also clean and neat. The problem is the cost benefit ratio is not good. The lobby does show good bones, but they are bare. The rooms are clean, but the air conditioner is one of those that's freestanding in the room, with a 6-in tube out the window. What made our stay more difficult is we were arrived on a Sunday so all the restaurants within walking distance were closed. The desk person could not help with any other recommendations. In short, an okay place, but not worth the price.

Excellent location in the heart of Butte. Great to see all the historical sites. Stay in the historic hotel, do not stay in the Motor Inn rooms. Unique history for the hotel.

Staff was fantastic and the rooms were VERY clean; whole hotel is well loved and it shows. Stayed in the historic tower. Bed and pillows were comfy. Great downtown location, walkable, close to good restaurants like the new M&M and North 46. Would stay here again!
