Finger Lickin Patties-Pastries - Restaurant in Pembroke Pines - 1458 S Hiatus Rd, USA

I've been coming to this restaurant for at least 9 years - driving all the way from downtown Miami and this place is no longer worth it. First they NEVER has fish. I was in the area, I called yesterday and order to esco fish and they had it. But I wish I never ordered it. The fish tastes old and bad quality. I ordered a side of sweet plantains and the plantains included and the plantains on the side were not ripe. They were hard and dry. Why would you give these to a customer. The rice was bland. This fish has been a problem over the years but I decided to give them another chance and it was really bad. I do not recommend this place anymore. Maybe if you want patties, but the other cooked food is low quality now.

Best patty in town, Finger Lickin Patties-Pastries was recommended by a co-worker who is Jamaican, he was not wrong about this place. Love the Patties here, the crust is golden and flaky, the filling is flavorful and the texture is just right, family and friends are always asking when I’m buying so they can get some too. Recommended 100%.

Amazing fresh patties! First time coming here and can’t wait to keep coming back, especially because one of the gentlemen working there even gave me a soda just because I asked what it was! That was very kind of him. 10/10 all around!

Absolutely delicious!! I had the oxtail plate and my partner had the curry goat. The only thing was the cabbage, carrots and plantains were missing from our order. Service was fast and friendCabbage, I will definitely be back!

This place was recommended by my aunt who's has been coming here for years. I recently took a visit with my sister to pick up coco bread Jamaican patties. The service was ok but the BREAD AND PATTIES ON POINT 5 STAR. They never disappoint. Delicious!

Been a long time patron but like all ethnic restaurants, customer relations and customer service are non existent. So l have minimized my support to bare necessity which is when l have absolutely no other option at a certain time. The food is not great, not good just ok. Portions are horrible in size, it's mostly no meat and lots of other fillers such as rice. The jerk pork skin and parts are burnt, curry chicken has backs as meat parts and gravy is always missing. For roti, gravy is a very important aspect of the meal. There was none. The chicken supplied for the price, one could more than likely purchase 2 whole ones and have the parts and.not bones. Yes, yes....labor and all but if folks are going to pay these prices, be respectful and make it worth their while.

Finger Lickin was always my "go-to" spot for authentic Jamaican patties in Pembroke Pines. However, my experience this evening (Christmas Eve) has made me a customer for life! So, I popped in to pick up a fresh baked hardough bread because no Jamaican Christmas breakfast is complete without that. Well I get there and joined the long line only to see that there were no loaves out. Before I could ask, the lady behind me asked the young gentleman coming from the kitchen if there were loaves in the back that were ready because she had called sometime before coming and was told that they would be ready in 20 mins. After disappearing in the back for a few minutes, the young man returned to tell us that they would now be ready in 2 hours. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. He asked if we could come back but we all expressed that we were unable to and was just a little upset about the miscommunication regarding the time. Much to my surprise ( and I'm sure the others in line as well), he offered to deliver the bread to our homes. We were so taken aback by the offer and thought that he must be joking. He wasn't. I gave him my home address and phone number and before I was done with dinner this evening, he dropped off the warm, soft, fresh bread! He was so gracious and made it seem like nothing but sometimes it does take little things in life like this to restore one's faith in humanity. Kudos to J.P. for going above and beyond this evening to ensure your customers' satisfaction.

Everything I was trying to order, they did not have. It could've been the time of day I ordered which was 3/4 pm on a Sunday but they were limited in their menu options. No oxtail. Limited on patty selection. I got rice and peas with brown stew gravy, rice was ok and the gravy was barely sprinkled on the rice so it was fairly dry. The chicken patty was not the best, it was really bland and they didnt have beef and cheese or ackee and saltfish. The cocoa bread was the best part of the meal. I did like how they had their bakery selection and the atmosphere was spacious
