The store is fine, like any other Pennsylvania owned liquor store. The reason for my low score is the customer service. I went in and there were 4 people behind the counter (no one else in the store) and I waited several minutes for them to acknowledge me. When they finally did, I asked about the holiday special where you buy 6 bottles from a specific collection and you get a free tote and $12 off. Last year there was a display with them all together. When I asked where they were he pointed to the end cap and told me they were somewhere around there. When I went to the end cap it wasn't there and I told him and he said that I had to just look around the store and find it myself. At that time, he was enjoying his sandwich behind the counter. I left and we'll be going to a different store.

Turned down real ids. The man got in our face and screamed at us that he knows New York ids. Clearly he does not.

I love the wine tastings every Friday at 4! They make learning about wine so accessible and so available to pretty much everyone in the area! As long as you're of age, you can listen to how they talk about the different types of wine, and the person in charge of the selection really works hard to make the weekly wine tasting experience an educational one

If you’re getting married and looking for a good place to get your wine/ spirits, the Ardmore shop couldn’t have been any better for us AND saved us over $400. I had the pleasure of working with assistant manager, Tiff, when I went to pick up wine and spirits for our ~120 person wedding. Now, I don’t know wine for the life of me, but I knew my budget. Tiff was as kind as she was sharp. She worked with me given my price range and even found a pile of coupons that helped reduce the cost heavily. Even with the coupons, I felt in no way limited on the 4 varieties I ended up with (and our several of our guests mentioned how much they liked them!) Tiff had me in and out with exactly what I needed for a fraction of the price I expected. Not to mention, Tiff and her employees have great ways about them and made me feel exceptionally welcome. Never thought I’d write a review for a liquor store, but I couldn’t help myself given this wonderful experience.

Large store with good selection of wines and liquors. The best in the area.

Drove a long way to get there today and was extremely disappointed. This place is obviously under new management and I was horrified at the brandy collection. On the top shelf we had immitation brandy with food coloring, followed by Paul Mason and Jaquins and Vsop. I drove to this location for quality brandy because all we have in Philadelphia is garbage.. now this store too. Half a dozen brands pulled for no reason, including Koenig William Pear Brandy. Shame on the manager fro dropping the quality of this selection to rock bottom, I left without any brandy. We cannot direct ship in PA because of our state's ridiculous liqour monopoly, so we depend on these stores. and what I see going on is branding wars, not liqour selection. I will not return to this location
