My mother and I came in here for lunch and it was so fantastic I only have good things to say! I had the combo ramen and it was so amazing, the chicken fell right off the bone, the salmon was cooked to perfection and the broth was so nice with the perfect amount of heat to flavor. My mom got the shrimp ramen and she loved it! The broth was creamy and delicious and absolutely full of flavor. Everything about our experience here was amazing and the nice lady we spoke too was incredibly kind, she made us feel like we were visiting a friend while eating a meal! We will absolutely be back!
This place is amazing! My family of 4 came here and all got different noodle bowls, we tried the chicken, salmon and shrimp and they were so flavorful and healing. We also got the gyoza. Our bowls were empty when we left. It's so nice when my kids eat all of their food especially healthy food! They were able to accommodate gluten free as well. Definitely coming back here!
What a find. We live in Los Angeles, and the ramen here was better than anything we find at home. The flavor of the broth is stupendous. The flavors are infused with long coke times, and imaginative spices even better than in Japan. Everything on the short menu is delicious, they focus on just a few things and do those perfectly. There is also food to go....yummy choices. The smoked fish is superb, the sushi excellent deal, the soups great. The owners prepare everything from the heart.
Ordered 2 dishes, the poke bowl and the 'special' beef curry. Asked if I could have noodles instead of rice, not a problem here!!! Delicious food,generous portions, great prices, fantastic people who work there. Just lovely, any time we are in the area we will eat here, from Bend Oregon.
Well, it’s official, my college dorm room opinion of ramen has been settled. These awesome folks created some of the best noodle entrees that I’ve ever experienced. I chose the Ramen bowl with chicken hindquarters, smoked salmon, and shrimp. I can’t think of anything that their rich broth lacked. Fresh spinach blanched atop enlivened my inner Popeye. Silverton is one of Oregon’s gem towns. This was my second dining experience in this quaint artsy town which seems to be experiencing a renaissance. The future of street cafes could easily take a stronger hold. The cops in town still wave at strangers with cameras. This is a very pedestrian town only lacking warmer spring days. Enjoy this town if you get a chance.
Took mural walking tour of Silverton and guide recommended Fin & Fowl. Drove out on rainy day and had tofu curry which was delicious and reasonably priced. Very clean and prompt service. Picked up some smoked salmon bellies, too. Wonderful place. Wish it was in Salem!
Stopped in finally to check this place out with it's good reviews and tasty sounding menu. I was pleasantly surprised to discover I already knew the owners from past events they have catered. I was impressed in the past by Chef Paul's culinary skills and with my visit today I was once again. I ordered the Salmon bento, Ahi Poke, Annette's gf macaroons, a Hawaiian Sun Lilikoi Lychee juice drink, and had to try Susan's ginger cookies. Everything tasted amazing! Love the setup with grab and go items. Smoked salmon was spot on with hint of smoke, moist and flavorful. Love the presentation from the radish garnish to the black sesame seeds on the avocado slices. Classy name for a classy place! So happy Paul and Susan opened this little restaurant!
This place is so good. I love their poke bowls. They give you a generous amount of protein for the price. It tastes fresh as well. Love their ingredients and love the variety within their niche of Japanese cuisine.
