The park is very nice. So glad it has a restroom. My grandson loves to play at this park. Very well kept.
Pros The park is nice. There is access to multiple grills so multiple families can enjoy the park at the same time. The playground area provides great entertainment for kids. Cons The restrooms are not the cleanest. The park has electrical outlets but the power was not on. Some of the chairs in the picnic area are broken.
My kids ages range from 3-16. Together we all have fun. It is something for us all to enjoy individually. On Nov. 1 I was highly disappointed in our community. We as a whole complain about not having things for children to do but can't seem to bring it together to make work constantly. Take care of the things you want. Trash was all over the place and there are plenty of trash cans. Glass scattered everywhere under the pavilion. We have to do better.
It's a nice place to take the kids to run around and use up some energy. The splash pad was turned on today, but there's been several times where I've come here on 90⁰ days specifically to let my kids play in the splash area and it wasn't turned on. It's a good, free way for kids to come have fun.
The playscape was okay. We appreciated that the play area was semi- covered. However, there was excessive trash on the playground and the restroom was locked, which made it hard for us having 4 children under 7. We have a child who uses a wheelchair, but the adaptive swing seat's lock was broken, preventing us from using it.
Pictures are no longer accurate. Splash pad DOES NOT work. Playground was decent but we were looking for a splash pad. I imagine what would turn the water on is what was torn apart. There were exposed electrical wires. We left. I don't define that safe for kids.
Would not recommend to visit when the sun goes down. Does have security cameras
Went to this park a couple weeks ago for my daughter's bday. There was a bday party going on and we still had room to run without interruption. Super cool jungle gyms. It sits low in a laid back location, but gets a pretty good buzz. Basketball court was full and all was an all around peaceful atmosphere.

I've traveled here on many occasions. Each time you come, you can find yourself getting into something different. If you like to walk and run, the paved trail is for you. If you'd like to rest and recharge, the wooden swings may be for you. Maybe
Amerson has become my favorite place to escape to. I love this park so much, I've even volunteered to keep it clean. I've found so many interesting side trails to the river banks. My dogs and I have a lot of joy and fun here. Having a place to exerci
I use to play tennis a lot here. Pickleball is now in. You can play and get supplies for $3. There is a playground for kids, plenty of picnic area, benches and an area to play soccer with goals. Restrooms are a available.
Walking on the treadmill, you see the following words written on the wall: hard work, determination and dedication. Yes, these words inspire you, but the best inspiration is Anthony Bright. He is amazing! With a combination of tough love and caring e
We loved this place. So much history. Did you know that Gregg and Cher's pool table is there covered with memorabilia? You can walk into the world-famous 7 head shower! Convenient parking, easy to find.
Beautiful visitor center and well Preserved grounds. Nice 17 minute orientation film too. Mounds are all within walking distance to visitor center but does take some time to walk in between. Walk ways are nice but do provide challenge to those with m
A very interesting cemetery with a lot of history. It was created when the city realized that the City Cemetery (see my review) would not be adequate for their growth. The terrain is very hilly and the roadways are tight. It contains notable peopl
20231211 Be sure to duck! The little pathway into the Earth Lodge has a low clearance. It is also very narrow, not for larger size individuals and those who does not like small, dark spaces.
I had the privilege of working at this venue, and it's safe to say that it was one of the most incredible experiences I've ever had. From the moment I stepped into the venue, I was greeted with warmth and kindness by the staff, who treated me with ki
Went to see a play here on Nov. 6th called Lover's and Friends and it was hilarious. Also very entertaining in general. Nice Theatre felt very authentic to its history with nice updates to the restrooms. Overall I enjoyed the atmosphere and the play
Really fun place in Macon. Visited for the first time in September with some friends. Great atmosphere and staff. The parking is a little sparse, but you can throw the dice across the street with businesses that aren't open.
