So I came here thinking this place has great food. That's not it at all. My beef enchiladas tasted like garbage. The ground beef had no flavor. It tasted like it was cooked in water no season what so ever. The sauce on the enchiladas tasted watered down with no seasoning in it, too. The rice needs more seasoning as well. I was very disappointed in this place. The only thing that tasted good was the beans. LoL I also ordered 4 grilled shrimp but was overcooked, which made it very chewy and hard. When it should be soft to eat. The staff was very friendly and kind.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Restaurant and bar were clean. Prices were good. Decor was good. Simply nothing to complain about in this well-run establishment. Take your significant other or your family and kids there with confidence.
Margaritas Margaritas Margaritas and the food is great too, but definitely partake in a MARGARITA!
Enchiladas were great and I did order them with verde sauce and we alsohadthe Nachos Salad. The parking is not a problem either. Plus the bartender knows his business 😉

After a very long day of driving we arrived in Cortez. We asked at the front desk where the best Mexican Restaurant was and they sent us to you❤️. It was within walking distance from our hotel and best of all they let our dog stay with us in their outdoor seating area. The place was bustling, not an empty table anywhere. The people working there were absolutely amazing to watch. WOW….so fast, so friendly, so accommodating. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been so impressed at any restaurant ever before. Lalo was looking after us and all was too perfection. The food was tasty, everything was wonderful. It was our anniversary on the road dinner and I couldn’t have wished for more. Thank you.
Really fun place. The service is always amazing, very friendly people and they are surprisingly quick with the food - and the food is exactly as the menu says, we’ve never had a problem with any of our dishes.
The menudo special was delicious and fun but I’d also love it if they had a birria special too (so much work to make at home).

The food was fantastic, I had the fajita burrito, the chicken, peppers and onions were freshly cooked, not precooked. The guac bowl was amazing. The fried flour shells were an unexpected but fantastic addition.
Not bad hubby had beef and chicken enchiladas the sauce had a hint of sweetness. I had 2 toasted coconut Margaritas they are the best Margaritas I've ever had with honey on the rim w/ toasted coconut flakes put this over the top! The fajitas were good.
What a gem! I'm so glad we were staying near this place or we might not have gone in. Great food and service, across the board on all the dishes we ordered along with the fiesta margaritas. Next time I'm back in Cortez I'm coming here, no question. The atmosphere and all the plants are a wonderful bonus.

We always stop at this park when we come to town. Two separate fenced areas with mulched paths through the sage brush, beautiful Mountain Viewâs and a trail by the water as well. Always clean, always plenty of waste bags & trash cans.
