Beautiful park. Playground for children, picnic place and trail
Beautiful park. Well maintained. Just a short distance from my house. Great place for a get together. Nice playground equipment. Cool garden trails. Awesome memorial. Right on the foundation trail. Highly recommend visiting this park if you’re in the area.
Beautiful open Park with a playground and plenty of room to picnic and let the kids play. There is also a beautiful paved nature trail that starts from here. Great place to spend the day or to just stop and stretch if passing through

We're driving through to get home to Iowa, and I see a tall curly slide, and I think, "Oh! I'll stop w the four kids to play a few minutes and they'll fall asleep for the rest of the drive!" We walk to the park and there's a lion-shaped water fountain! But a nasty cigarette butt and the water is flowing constantly causing lots of slimy algae to grow in rye lions mouth. The merry-go-round is on its side in a giant puddle of water and the older merry-go-round is in horrible disrepair. We came for the slide, so we head over. Bees buzz the top as my ten year old climbs, and I decide to not let anyone else chance a sting. Hauling the herd to the nearest concrete, we find ourselves on the beautiful memorial park with gobs of beautiful landscaping and I can't help but notice the juxtaposition. Hundreds and hundreds of dollars were used for plants (anyone who has a house and buys plants in the spring knows that plants are not cheap!)....maybe use some of that money to fix the park...?? I know it's a memorial park, but they share the same land and it's sad.
This place was cool. It was nice to honor veterans and the cool thing was this place has a trail on it and it was beautifull.

Loved it. It was incredible. Learned allot about the culture and small bits of the language spoke with several dancers at the powwow all were very inviting and informative. Definitely worth seeing and spending some time here. Every dance is different
