FIDO's Backyard - Park in Fairmont - City View Terrace, USA

We were staying in the area for a few days and needed to let our furbabies burn some energy. This park is a little tricky to get to, just pay attention to the signs. There was a large shaded area on the hillside and an open field at the bottom. We were the only ones there, it is a little remote, just FYI. The dogs enjoyed it, there were tennis balls and dog bowls available. They give it 5 paws.

I’m visiting Fairmont for the week & needed a place to bring my active corgi to burn off energy & found FIDO’s backyard in google maps. HOWEVER, just like previous reviewers, it’s tricky to get there. I requested change location on google maps & hopefully, the pics with notes/instructions will help. We got there at around 9:30 am on a Monday. It was just us. No other dog or people. The place is clean, sufficient trash bins/poopy bags in place, weeds were a little overgrown (probably from the recent rains). Only gave 4-stars because I personally don’t feel comfortable in its remote location. I’m sure other people like that. Otherwise, I highly recommend going here!

The size of this dog park is perfect. It’s conveniently located right off the interstate and is located in a large park that has things for human children as well. It is in the woods with plenty of things to sniff and it has a doggy water fountain. I gave it three stars because the fence was not very sturdy. There were parts of it that I wasn’t sure if it could keep my 80 pound dog contained.

The park is a good place to let your dog run without worrying about him/her getting away. There are shaded sections and an open field for them to run in. My dog loved it. I will be using it regularly.

Gotta love a free and pretty well maintained dog park.

We love coming here. Just wish there was more for small dogs.

Very clean park. They have a small dog area and a large dog area. I would definitely come back and take my dog there
