Fiddler’s Steamhouse & Oyster Bar - Seafood restaurant in Blountstown - 17415 Main St N, USA

We stopped here on our way to Port St. Joe. I ordered the flounder with baked potato and green beans. The flounder is very impressive looking and it had a good taste. I rated 4 stars instead of 5 because the menu didn’t specify that this was bone-in fish. I’m not from the gulf coasts and not used to pulling it away from the bone. I was unsure if I could eat the skin or not, as well. It was still good though and the service was great! I would eat here again if in the area.

Love love the shrimp, grits, grouper, catfish, and okra. The baked potato was microwaved after it was cooked. Not so good. Love going to this place when we travel to Altha from North Carolina. The service was great!! Can't wait to get the oysters on the half shell. They were out both times we went.

Awesome service! Grouper - blackened, fried light crispy and grilled, our table enjoyed!!! 🐟 Cheese grits a real favorite. Smoked fish appetizer, perfect starter.

Carla, our server, was amazing with her attention to us. She told us the special got us our drinks and appetizer. Our daughter's meal was out first and brought quickly to keep her happy. Toddlers can't be still. She ate all of her corn dogs. The quality and taste of food was great. Hot and fresh. Crispy. Husband ordered seafood platter with fries and cheese grits. He loved the shrimp and grits and hush puppies the best. I enjoyed my chicken tenders and fries and baked beans. Everything was piping hot and fresh and real chicken. Baked beans had a good smoky flavor. We really liked that we did not have to ask our server for refills or to go cups or plates. She was paying attention and had everything before we could ask. She always asked if their was anything else we needed. So rare to get such great service! Shout out the old woman beating the youngins at their game. When you get someone who actually cares about the quality of their service it makes all the difference in deciding to come back to a place.🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️🫶🏻 Keep up the great work Mrs. Carla!!!

Great service and friendly. Who ever the chef is they know how to fry food. Best fried okra I've had in a long time. Hush puppies were good. Fried grouper not as fresh as I like and seemed to have been frozen for a while but all in all was a good meal.

The best seafood I have had in a very long time. My waitress was awesome! Our drinks never reached below half a glass, our food was out in under 5 mins, and was so hot we had to let it cool before we could eat. I highly recommend this place and if you stop by try the crab fingers!

Food was cooked through, but had no seasoning whatsoever. Then for my party of six we were charged a required 18% gratuity and then asked again at the register for another tip, ridiculous to have a required gratuity for 6 people.

I had heard good things about this place, unfortunately I didn't find it so. Went in for supper with my wife and the best part was the cheese curds. The place was clean and server was nice but the food was a total disappointment. The batter on the shrimp was falling off and they were rubbery. I got the steak as well. It came so heavily seasoned with something like taco/fajita seasoning you couldn't really taste the meat. I like oysters and sometimes get them with cheese and other toppings. I definitely wouldn't here after seeing them prepare them by putting the toppings on a couple trays of oysters and then sticking them in a microwave to melt everything?? Unfortunately this is a definitive do not return. Very disappointed
