It has the great staff good location but the worst owner rented a Jacuzzi room jacuzzi pipe broke flooded our room not only did they refuse to compensate us they refused to give us back our deposit. The owner took it upon herself to use foul language towards me and my husband when all we did was ask for their information she refused to give us her name or anything else.
I really found this hotel to be a life saver. It's reasonably priced, clean, and the management are nice and helpful. Also, there's good sound insulation between rooms. I'm traveling with pets and there's plenty of grass to walk the dog. I stayed a month. I'm giving it 5 stars - that doesn't mean it's the Ritz, but it's well managed for a modest, older hotel.
From my experience, I highly DO NOT recommend staying here, especially if you are a family. Upon arriving late at night, extremely tired from a long day of driving and eager to get a good nights sleep, my friend and I were very frustrated to be awoken by loud noises coming from a room beside us, one hour after checking in. Noises coming from intimate play, sounded scary as if something bad was happening. Lasting for more than 30 minutes, my friend and I, scared and tired, decided that we could not sleep here because (without going much into detail) of how loud and criminal it sounded, even with earplugs. As we left, the worker on duty said we would get a refund if we called back the next day and said she would check out that room; however, after many days and many attempts calling to speak with a manager, the main manager refused to refund us and was quite rude. She additionally tried to gaslight us into saying that there were no guests checked in around us and thought we were making up a story. Not very great customer service overall due to how things were handled after not being able to fully use the room to sleep. Hopefully they treat whoever stays there next a little nicer when they encounter a similar situation :)
Positive: Clean family owned hotel with very nice staff. Not a five star hotel, but I only paid for a two star hotel. Room was remarkably inexpensive. Very convenient to ferry and restaurants. Read some awful reviews that might have been from competitors. Negative: No,
Really don’t know where to start with the nightmare of an experience this place put us through. First, we showed up a little before check in and were told we could pay $25 or wait 25 minutes so we went to have a look around town. We came back around 5:30 and were told our room was cancelled, without reason and there was nothing they could do.
We ended up having to book another hotel last minute, which we were okay with because after seeing the property it was fine by us to not stay there. The thing is, they still charged us the whole stay and when we called requesting a refund they refused to do so saying we cancelled our reservation. After going back and forth however many times we found out that the property lied to Expedia and falsified my signature, saying we stayed there and showed up with a bunch of dogs?
It’s been a wild ride and this place is an absolute joke of a hotel.
i stayed there recently, room was very clean and inviting. Biggest factor for me.. Room had all essentials i needed including microwave, tv, fridge, etc. front desk staff very extremely friendly and helpful. Will be returning again!!!
I’d do 4.5 stars if Google allowed it. The location, atmosphere, and service were great, and definitely worth the price point.
Our only complaint is the hard mattress. Everything else was great!
Turned away 25 minutes early for checkin, came back hours later and our room was cancelled. No phone call, no cancellation notice, no apology. After dealing with the horrible lady on the desk we ended up with NO solution and no help, having to find other accommodations on our own and STILL being charged the full two night stay, which Expedia reimbursed after the fact because the hotel said that we didn’t cancel the room and there was a reservation they just didn’t have a dog friendly room at the time, which is what we booked. The property itself is in shambles as well, don’t bother booking here.
Completely exceeded expectations for an âInn.â Really nicely remodeled and super quiet. This was a great stay! The second floor is only accesible by stairs (not a complaint just something to note). The staff are all super kind. The breakfast roo
