Feeding Tampa Bay - Food bank in Tampa - Building #6, 4702 Transport Dr, USA

Went with work for a volunteer event and had a great time. We have been here as a group yearly and it is always a great team builder and an amazing way to give back to the community.

Oh my goodness, what a great organization! If you're looking to volunteer your time or donate food, this is the place! My office volunteered as a team and we all had a great time. Much respect to those that work here every day and give back to the community! We appreciate the impact you make so that no one goes hungry. You can tell the employees are passionate about what they do and enjoy working there.

This is my happy place. The best way to feel good about yourself is by doing for others.

I volunteered with my church Love First Christian Center, Singles Ministry on a Friday night to serve our community. We were productive and completed the mission. I would certainly volunteer again and you should too💜

Most of the food you gave me on Tuesday in Lakeland Florida was either rotten or totally stale to the point that it is not edible. What single person needs 18 tomatoes 10 of which were rotten, and also bell peppers all three of which were rotten. I understand that it is food bank, but there has to be some sort of quality control. Over 3/4 of the food that I was given is not edible. The only thing that is and will keep is the canned beef. Ever since you took over agape and shut it down food banks in Lakeland have suffered.

Its hard to post a negative review for a group that hands out food. HOWEVER. I've tried twice to utilize their "food bank" 1st time I received pudding and potatoes ( no I was not late I waited for an hour and was there at scheduled open time) 2nd time.4squash, rotten tomatoes, and a head of cabbage. In my opinion giving people in need these items is equivalent to scraping your dinner plates scraps and handing them out. It cost more in gas than the whole bag. I am recently widowed and take care of my sns father who is 100% disabled. I was hit by a perao. Running a stop sign 2 months ago leaving me unable to work for the first time time in my life. Its really degrading when you have to ask for help and are thrown items and portions incapable to feed anyone. I now understand why people cant rise out of bad situations. Im saddend and have zero resources in tampa to turn to. Its really gross Thanks, Enlightened

Such a well organized, much needed, non political, combined partnership effort. That is successful in getting food out to surrounding communities.

I’m really appreciative of what you do and for the food we can get every week. But I decided to share pictures today because it is not the first time it has happened to me that I get some staff that is uneatable because it’s already gone bad or has molding like in this case I got the delicious artesano bread but it is all green ….. I wish the people that is handling four just realize when something is not good. Again thank you so much for all you do but it is happening to often and that is why I am posting this coment.
