I miss this place so much after moving away from Beacon Hill. I always got great advice and fine wine here at value. I was pleasantly shocked to see a cameo of both the store and a salesman (who I purchased from for many years) in "The Holdovers." Bravo gentlemen. Keep up the great work.
Whenever I'm in Boston, I have to stop at this place. Incredible wine selection in the basement at a decent price considering the wine. I've bought several 30+ year-old vintages over the years at that place, and they were always still very good, which tells me that the incredibly kind staff here knows what they are doing (and buying).

Very knowledgeable & helpful folks run the place. Almost every Wednesday they have introductory or exploratory presentations & tastings of particular wines. For city folks (unless you're out in Dorchester or South End or S. Boston...) their location couldn't be more central- very fine place to frequent!
Oenophiles look no further. While I believe this place is no longer a hidden gem, you need to invest your time here for carefully selected drops and lots of great stories. My new go to anytime I am in Boston now.
