I don’t know how this place is open. They can’t be selling that many $8 teas to afford that spot … got to be something going on ….But to the tea part me I’ve had a lot better and they should probably clean the back of that waffle iron in there is about 2 inches of cake on grease. The service was great though I will admit that there is one that knew what she was doing training one that didn’t know what she was doing so it took a long time And as far as atmosphere, unless you’re a four year old Asian girl or a 30-year-old playing a cat as an adult now I wouldn’t say there’s much of an atmosphere

First time dining here and they had delicious boba teas. Too bad they didn't have strawberries and I wish that the server had told me that before I ordered the Cream-berry or didn't charge me full price for the item, I would have ordered a different item. All in all it was a positive experience, I will have to try again another time to see if the service will be better next time. Side Note: No public restrooms here. If you or your children need to use the restrooms they have some across the street at Strang Chef Collective.

Nice variety of boba and milk tea. Wish they had a few more toppings but what they have is good for most. Staff is friendly. Many of the people in line in front of me have never had boba before and asked dozens of questions which makes service a little slow in that regard. Otherwise, a worthy stop for something refreshing.

Fast Service and friendly staff. The space is on the smaller side with a bright interior design/paint that allows the space to feel rather large. With booth like seating there is plenty of space to lounge to talk or table to work on a laptop. Additional seating is outside when the weather is permitting and the area is open with a slight awning for rain coverage. Additionally Fat Bee Cafe is on the same street as the KC Street Car for east travel access. Will happily be coming back and looking forward to using this space as a study zone and trying the food options they have available.

I come here frequently after getting groceries, one lady remembers me now and knows exactly what I order. I tried something new and it was delicious, I went to reorder it today and I accidentally ordered a tea instead of a latte. I did not like the tea and they made me a new drink even though it was my fault. I love this little shop! The Brown Sugar Boba Latte is my favorite. It is a small shop in downtown, so there arent a lot of places to park, which is to be expected. Good thing I walk everywhere. :)

Fat Bee's milk teas are also good I highly recommend golden oolong milk tea. They also have special seasonal drinks quite often, so if you like trying something new, give their seasonal drinks a try. I'll definitely try out their next special fruit tea. Apart from the drinks, it has nice cozy seating and usually doesn't get too crowded. The prices are fair compared to the other bubble tea franchises. Definitely a local fave!

Been here many times and never make me disappointed. Staff are very friendly and helpful, they introduced a lot of new drinks for me every time I come. Good drinks and great atmosphere in KC Downtown.
