Fast Taco By Lupita's Mexican Restaurant And Grocery Store - Mexican restaurant in Manitowoc - 1701 S 41st St, USA

The food always has an off taste. Overpriced. Staff is not friendly. One worker actually questioned if I spoke Spanish, I do, but, they speak in unusual inflections, making it hard to understand. I never got the drink I ordered either, she kept insisting she gave it to me. I've given this place too many chances and this was the last straw.

This review is hard solely because they have pushed out really great authentic mexican food. Their tacos are great, their tamales are the best in town but the quality seems to very greatly. I can go one day and its great and then go the next day and my meat will be way overcooked to where its crunchy. The place itself is pretty dirty and run down and there is def a language barrier there. I do not speak Spanish but as a customer and an uber eats driver who picks up orders the struggle of communication sucks. They also seem to price the tamales at whatever they choose. I went in and grabbed 2 backs for 24$ my friend later that day went in and paid 40$ for the same 2 bags. All in all I do go here regularly because more often then not its good and or decent. They need to keep up on the quality and make it consistent.

They closed the door on me 25 minutes before closing literally as I was walking in after just letting 2 other people inside? 25 minutes til close. They just shrugged their shoulders and walked away. I took it racial. I rarely will say that either but I am this time. Oh well...

I wasn’t expecting much in terms of authentic Mexican food in Manitowoc, WI, but Fast Taco/Lupitas takes the prize for most disgusting. I ordered three tacos (beef, pork, and steak), and they were all extremely dry and had an odd, almost unpalatable taste. The refried beans were no better, also with an odd taste, and the rice had no flavor at all, like eating wet paper. Making my experience even worse, the restaurant gave me only one tiny lime wedge and did not include any salsa, napkins, or even eating utensils. What a complete joke, but not in any way funny. I feel sick now.

Update: Company moved by shell station Went here for the first time, and ordered a big burrito. It was so good I had another one and put myself in a food coma.

Honestly don’t know how this place has 4 stars the Service is horrible , employees are rude and the food Is not that great. Your better off going to El Alamo

The food is good. However, they always overcharge. The price in the drive through menu is not the actual price. Their money handling skills are horrible. It's never the correct price, and they do not understand English enough to correct their mistakes. Im done with Fast Taco.

Stopped by for some “fast tacos” to eat in the car. I have to say, I was impressed. I wasn’t expecting these delicious tacos out of the gas station. I never stopped by their old location down the road and I am now regretting it. Will definitely be back!
