Farmington Valley American Muslim Center Inc - Mosque in Avon - 35 Harris Rd, USA

I do not attend religious services here, but I have been able to do volunteer work here many times. They regularly hold food packing events, fundraisers, and donation drives for people in need. They host a twice-monthly Foodshare truck to make sure locals get the fresh food they need. I really appreciate how involved this group is with folks in need. You will always be made to feel welcomed, even if you are not Muslim. If you love being able to put your hands into service, sign up for their email list, as there's lots of opportunities!

A Gem amongst the Muslim Communities. This is the first Umma, I will for always truly call family. I live in Germany and lived for nearly 2 years in Connecticut. This Muslim community made me feel right at home and has always been open for those who want to worship Allah at any time. There is no year, especially no Ramadan I don't think about this blessed place and it's people. May Allah pour blessings upon blessings onto this community and the mosque itself, amîn.
