The Farmers Market Restaurant has been a staple in this community since 1952. Locals have been coming here for years. And, this is for good reason. The food is wholesome, delicious, and fairly priced. What's more is that the food is served quickly by friendly helpful staff. You could not go anywhere and feel more welcome than this place. So, when you are ready for some good ole down home southern cooking, this is your place. I promise that you won't be disappointed. Be sure to save room for dessert.

Cute little restaurant. It was really busy for a random Wednesday afternoon which is a great sign. The food was delicious the service was off. I’ve never been handed my ticket before my food comes out. The server wasn’t really friendly or personable. Wham! Bam thank you ma’am situation. Definitely check it out if you’re in the area the shrimp and grits were good, needed some extra seasoning and kick.

Featured in USA today and other magazines this historic restaurant ( one of oldest in Florida) lives up to the hype and is a must visit in the area!!! Fantastic country fried steak, mac/cheese, rolls, mashed potatoes and green beans. Only disappointment was the lack of quantity of chocolate cream pies! Peanut butter pie is good if you like peanut butter! I even bought a T shirt to wear in pride for the goodness of this restaurant! Several women working have been there for 56 years!

Coming from Europe this is an experience. Southern food in a simple no nonsense sphere. Not part of a franchise! Food was good but should have chosen less fried dishes.

Local restaurant with southern comfort food. Enormous portions. Succulent turkey breast. Loved the corn bread. Interesting place. Not a touristy place.

I highly recommend this amazing place. The bustling atmosphere always suggests its popularity. The servers are consistently prompt and attentive. The corn bread is absolutely delicious, and the food is exceptionally well-seasoned.

After many years, I revisited this local gem expecting the same wonderful experience. In the past, it was a delightful and casual spot with consistently hot, delicious food and top-notch service. Unfortunately, this Sunday, every dish we ordered arrived barely warm, and the quality seemed to have dropped significantly. It's disheartening to witness a decline in standards, and I won't be returning.
