The off-menu special of the day, Spicy Pineapple Wings, featured plump wings, but lacked a strong pineapple flavor. The well-known Fish and Chips were enjoyable; however, the garden peas it came with were oversalted and contained unexpected corn pieces. The plating of the food was beautifully done. The one-star rating is not due to the food, which was overall a 4/5, but rather the fact that water was dripping from the ceiling onto me and our food. To avoid the water, we tried switching seats at our table, but it did not help. The waiter seemed to have noticed, yet he did not say anything.
This place is quirky and cool. Service was excellent, helping us pick out a few dishes. The lamb meatball sub was good but not my main jam. And a little confusion on how the green curry was spiced meant that I got Sriracha on the side, but I lived the creative combo of ingredients and the aromatic basmati rice. The kale Caesar might have been my favorite bite?? Oh and the fries were delicious :)
Such a cool spot. Not a huge menu but it’s quality! Started with Scotch Egg and it was awesome! We had the Chicken Pesto Fettuccine and the Fish and Chips with mushy peas. The food was great. Loved how fresh the fish tasted and the fries were awesome. Server was super nice and seemed like a short handed.
Great food! I ordered the bangers and mash, my husband ordered the shrimp pappardelle. The bangers and mash is a very hearty dish. The mash and onion gravey was delicious. The shrimp pappardelle definitely has a kick (spicy). We also ordered the Scott egg and brussel sprouts as a appetizers and they were very good. I definitely recommend this place!
Excellent meal! Sam made our experience wonderful celebrating my husband’s birthday! She waited on us with such a happy, social attitude, and was around the perfect amount to satisfy refills. The food was delicious, and so full of flavor. I highly recommend trying out their proper margaritas as well, they do not disappoint! The toffee pudding is so so delectable that even my picky eater children couldn’t get enough! All around we had a great experience even with a larger party and we will definitely be back for more!
My sister and I came in for an early dinner. This was the best dining experience I could have ever had. We shared a scotch egg, let me tell you: best egg ever. It was amazing and delicious. Then we shared a plate of fish and chips and the chickpea burger, both we very good! Only thing we didn't really care for was the fries, just not very crunchy, but well seasoned and had good color. I think we just like crisper fries. Overall well worth every penny 👌 definitely recommend.
Hadn’t been here since they moved to Glenstone. Abby was very attentive and we got to try things you just can’t get anywhere else. That’s what we liked most!
Great place to come - let’s break this 5 star down. Service - 5 stars, loved our server. So friendly, attentive and personal. Great recommendations Food - 5 Stars. We tried the egg appetizer and shared the Pan Seared Salmon (on a bed of Brussel Sprouts, Carrots and Sweet Potatoes). Very fresh and cooked so nicely. Atmosphere - 5 Stars. Not too loud, fun vibe, bathrooms were clean. We were visiting and loved it. Would definitely come back. Truly fresh food. Thanks for. Great dining experience
