This was basically the perfect breakfast, and we tried lots of different things. The beignets with bourbon caramel sauce were a great starter. We tried there different cocktails- the espresso martini, the pear vanilla gin fizz, and the cider mimosa- all big hits. My friend had the chicken and waffles and loved it. He said the chicken was perfectly cooked. My other friend got the French toast with maple syrup and berries and loved it. I ordered the south by southwest with andouille sausage and a side of green tomatoes. The tomatoes were very well done and the south by southwest was perfectly done. Definitely try their homemade hot sauce- just be careful how much you use. It packs a punch. Our server Charlotte was kind, checked in at the perfect cadence, and her recommendations were spot on. We are visiting from out of town but if we are ever back, we will stop here first.

Delicious food and coffee. Had the bananas foster French toast and drip. My friend ordered the waffle and scrambled eggs. Simple, but fabulous. Excellent service as well in the cutest restaurant. Parking is a bear, but that's ok. Absolutely will return!

We got the biscuits appetizer, the breakfast tacos with added brisket, and the power hour salad with egg. It was phenomenal. The service was great, and we loved the atmosphere. We are definitely going back here next time we're in town. I would recommend this place for everyone.

We stopped for brunch here. Aesthetic, clean, and cozy! The food was awesome. Their lattes are more milky than usual, but it makes them very warm like hugs in a mug. The sound carries well, and because we were seated in the middle if the room, it was a bit loud, but since this is a historic place, we didn't mind it at all.

Amazing place to have brunch any day of the week! I went in and got breakfast tacos and the guacamole and pico were so delicious and fresh. Coffee was good too, and everything was plated so beautifully. The atmosphere was so cute and the service was great. I’d absolutely come again. Prices were reasonable, too!

Worth a visit, maybe even a must visit when in Charlottesville VA or while visiting UVA. The service was top notch in a charming antebellum home converted into a restaurant. The creaky narrow (probably original) old stairs led to a second floor dining area with towering ceilings and windows to match. We enjoyed a brisket and egg brunch and the brioche French toast with bananas foster. The brisket was excellent and the eggs were cooked to perfection. Fresh black eyed peas and hash browns rounded out this dish. Magnificent house hot sauce stands on its own as a singular reason to visit. The brioche banana foster French toast was fabulous. Brioche is often misused to represent any fluffy ish bread with a shiny crust but this was the real McCoy. A perfect quantity to fresh bananas were bathed in just the right amount of reduced bourbon.

This place was great, especially as I was looking for a brunch on a weekday for my birthday and there aren't that many weekday brunches around. The food was delicious. I had the Farm Bell Benedict and the biscuit board (shared) and both were great. The drinks were good but nothing to write home about.

My partner and I stopped in on Friday for a late brunch, there was no wait, so we were greeted and seated quickly (once we realized the host stand is past the cute little coffee section 😂). Our server, Amy, came out to us quickly and was very knowledgeable. She was funny, nice, and super attentive. We ordered a bunch of apps, and they all came out pretty fast and were all good. The kitchen staff brought stuff out to us as soon as it was ready, which was super! Cappuccino: *I got a hot cappuccino with snickerdoodle flavor, and it was very good! Sweet, but delicious. It was worth the wait (the barista was a busy bee!) Fried green tomatoes: *Not too oily *I loved the salty capers on top *The breading came off, but they were still good Pork belly biscuits: *These were my partner's favorite! We requested additional pickles and pickled onions, and they really hit the spot Banana beignets: *My favorite *Sweet, fresh, and piping hot *I would have loved more fresh bananas, but dang, these were good Biscuit board: *4 biscuits *3 sauces/toppings *Side of ham *The only thing my partner wished was that the butter was warmed Baked brie: *Lots of sweetness on top. Make sure you mix everything up before dipping to make sure you get all of the flavor *It was a little difficult to get the cheese onto the bread, but it was still good Other thoughts: *Parking sucks because you have to find street parking or go into the parking garage. The parking garage we used only cost us about $4, and it seemed to have plenty of spots. It just stunk we had to pay for parking. *Nice ambiance *Cute decor *Nice music *Reasonable prices *There is one single occupancy bathroom on the main floor. There's one downstairs too somewhere, but I didn't go adventuring to find it. Overall, I'm glad we chose this place as we were passing through. If we are ever in the area again, I hope to stop back in and check out the bed and breakfast part, too!

We were here for a casual date and the food turned out great. I really liked the mushroom risotto as well as the fried oysters. We also ordered pork belly for appetizer, it was a little too dry for me but that’s just personal preference. Definitely
