Beautiful house. The inn keepers were friendly and gave excellent service. We stayed in the balcony room. It was nice to be able to go outside during the morning and nights to relax and read. The pool was nice and relaxing after a day of drinking and walking. Breakfast was phenomenal and made by the inn keepers who served us our meal. I will definitely keep it in mind for our return trip to the area.

The wife and I just got back from a quick the Brenham, TX. We stayed at the Far View B&B ans it was fabulous. Everything from the room to the common area to the dinning area to the kitchen was squeaky clean. The grounds were well kept albeit somewhat crowded. They even had a swimming pool. And, Steve served wonderful breakfasts. I would recommend this place for a weekend or a week.

What a great place for a little get away. Although you feel like you are isolated in your own little cozy world, you are minutes away from all conveniences. The house is located on some land, with lots of greenery and walkways. Parking is on site, and there is plenty of it. We did not use the hot tub or the pool, but they were there for those who were so inclined. The house itself has an imposing edifice, and the inside is well taken care of, beautifully decorated and clean. Our room was The Balcony, and had a lovely view and table and chairs for sitting outside. Bed was comfortable, and the room was quiet. We were pleasantly surprised when our towels were changed out the following day, without asking. (that doesn't seem to happen anymore!) There was an interesting book on the history of the house in our room, which made a good read. Steve and Lynda were great hosts (hope you're feeling better Lynda!) and the breakfasts were delicious. We are going to make this our go to place in Brenham from now on. Definitely recommend!

This is our hide-away in the city. The rooms are exquisite. The home is in he Historical Records. Steve and Lynda have brought this place back to life. We have been going here for several years and would recommend it highly. It has pool and pool suites which you can rent. The Carriage House allows children, but the rest of the rentals are adult only. Steve cooks a wonderful breakfast. The house is surrounded by trees and bamboo. Birds are singing everywhere. It is close to Brenham downtown, but it feels like it is isolated from the downtown. it is close to the Rose Emporium, and is home to the Blue Bell Creamery which is open M-F. Don’t wait! It is great!

My wife and I had a great experience at Far View B&B. This place is magical. Neat and clean. Breakfast was delicious. We are planning to return again. I highly recomend this fantastic place. Brenham is a nice city and Far View is the right place to stay.

This is a very nice B&B. The room was well equipped, and comfortable. It is a quite location as we heard no outside noise. The breakfast was filling and the host was very kind and accommodating. There is a pool and a very nice patio grilling area next to the pool.

Where to begin.. this place was amazing. Exactly what my husband and I needed. Relaxing, beautiful, quiet, romantic and comfortable. We stayed in their pool suite. It was private and had an amazing jacuzzi inside the room. The pool was right outside the room and they accommodated everything you could think of. The breakfast was served to us and delicious. The host was super attentive and very nice guy. Only downside, we didn’t get to use their outside kitchen, which would have been nice to cook up some steaks but, they charge a 25 dollar fee to use that area which is understandable. Overall, we will be back when we can. the perfect getaway when you need it!

A wonderful experience at this quaint bed and breakfast. The furnishings are perfect for the period when this home was built. A great history of this home almost 100 years old. It was built by the country doctor of Brenham. Some renovations had to be done of course. It’s a very peaceful setting. The room was very nice and furnished again for the time period. The pillows were soft, which we love. The bed was very comfortable, better than some hotels we’ve stayed in. We were attending a Houston class reunion at a members ranch so we had a late check in. The owner’s instructions were very clear. When we drove in, the owner Steve came out to greet us and gave us more information. In the back was the parking lot where there was designated parking. Then the next morning I was looking forward to breakfast after seeing the pictures and reviews. It was scrumptious. Starting with a berry parfait topped with whipped cream. Steve and Lynda were in the kitchen preparing. Quiche freshly baked, bacon, cantaloupe and a hot biscuit. Unfortunately we were only staying one night so I didn’t get to walk along the paths. Whenever we’re near Brenham, we will stay here again. Steve and Lynda were great hosts.
