Fannin Battleground State Historic Site - History museum in Victoria - 734 FM 2506, USA

I'm glad I finally got to see this place. God rest their souls... Vital Texas history!!!

The first stop on a ride I participated in while visiting the area for a charity rally put on by the Gypsy motorcycle club. Gypsy Google told us some history of what happened here, and I found it interesting but very sad.

The historic information was great, will go back. The grounds don't seemed to be maintained as well as it once was. Hasn't been mowed but that could be for the wildflowers. It would be nice if it was restored to their original plans such a wonderful gift to visit though.

Took a little road trip her with the kids, we lpve Texas history and this site have just that, they have a room with the story about the battle, all the site grounds are nice, clean. Tjenkods love it!!

While driving the highway we noticed a Historical site. A place where the Mexican Army massacred some Texans. If your passing by on your way to Victoria, Texas or near the area it's worth the time to see. First time I heard of a site honoring these brave men.

Peaceful place where you can see the battlefield. Interesting little museum to display the story of this eventful day in Texas history.

What a great place to visit for Texas history lovers.
