A great after dinner walk! The old paper mill was awesome and there's a little park along the board walk as well! No swings though 😔😅
My son got married here. Quaint lil park
A little gem in the heart of Plainwell. On the south bank of the Kalamazoo River, it features a float for fishing, a kayak launch, a picnic table on a green stretch of lawn and mature trees. Among them is a magnificent copper beech, its spreading branches creating a cool canopy of natural beauty. The outflow from the Plainwell Millrace rejoining the river roils the water into a rapids that holds the attention.
Good plays Tuesday and they will come to this fine place in the ground in wyoming i'm busy place to have a good life and to get your business with it and come join the people of michigan.
Nice walk early morning a little chilly but enjoyable
This is a very nice park. The location is epic, near downtown Plainwell, making it convenient for walking to local businesses. It's also connected to other local parks, Hicks Park and Sherwood Park. It's extremely convenient. The best part is, if you live in Plainwell you can walk here, and if you don't, the parking is abundant and free. There are benches, a gazebo, and a bathroom (contrary to other reviews) which is in the kayak building. It has always been public so far as I'm aware. One can launch kayaks from here. There's a very nice view of the historic paper mill and a historic marker, as well as the river and gardens. The gardens here during the summer are very, very pretty and attract tons of honey bees. The dock is nice, and the whole park in general is a great place for senior pictures, homecoming or prom pictures, or any other pictures. I've even watched proposals and weddings here! The park is also well maintained. Another one of the cute parks in Plainwell!
Beautiful little park with a bunch of flowers and a small dock to go out on the water
Nice kyak landing. Wish it wasn't so far to the parking area.
I used to attend Taekwondo classes there in 2020 but had to quit. I loved the classes and the people. I'd go back in a heartbeat if able. I haven't been to the gym part but they were always bustling when I went to class. It must be good. There is a c
I love the smell and atmosphere right as I walk through the door. The coffee can be custom made to taste as opposed to following a recipe which is great as I can be sensitive to sweet flavors. I brought my mom in with me and we were both impressed by
Unfortunately I'm unable to consume dairy, but I enjoy their other foods. 21 shrimp & fries is a great price, tastes amazing, service is pleasant and quick. Only bummer is that they are seasonal. Great establishment and Staff
I live in Battle Creek, and the closest Papa Murphy's is in Plainwell. It has been a couple of years since I've ate Papa Murphy's pizza, and I wasn't disappointed. I love the Mediterranean herb chicken pizza. Still tastes the same. Wish someone wou
Thank you Plainwell for getting Mexican food right. I am from California and when I saw "San Francisco" I was skeptical...WOW...this restaurant was absolutely phenomenal. Best Margarita I have had in Michigan (had 2), food was exceptional, and servic
