Family Fare is a good grocery store and is in a convenient location for my family and I to shop at. They have the standard amenities like a pharmacy, customer service that sells lottery and tobacco, a bakery, etc. The only downside to this place are the high prices. However, seeing as it is the only grocery store in Red Wing, you can't go wrong shopping there.
I like the value of this store. All the employees are very friendly. Love there deli and I like their pick up service. They have a lot of weakly deals and they have a reward's card.
Great service. A little spendy but usually good sale prices.
New used to only complain because they sold expired goods. Check the dates yourself. Anytime there is a sale it's because legally it can't be sold. We ordered a Thanksgiving deli prepared meal for Thanksgiving and recieved a prison style meal complete with frozen solid turkey forzen sides and a bag of mashed potatoes. None of which was prepared at any deli but at a factory. When I brought the food items back with a receipt they refused to give the cash I had just used to purchase and said they credited my card ... They then swore at me repeatedly acting as if I was the one trying to rip them off. They then told me I was never to come back to the store. What a joke. $70 is what you would spend preparing your own meal. Our oven was on the fritz and couldn't be trusted to cook a turkey. Of all the local places we could have went we went to this dirtbag scummy location. It is consistently run by greedy nasty old women and men with low testosterone.
Nice produce, clean store and friendly staff.
Folks are pleasant, the store is smaller so things are easier to find. I will shop here when I only need a few things and don't have it in me to go all the way up to the big store and trudge around there. Prices are too high for big shopping unless you go prepped with a list from the weekly ad page and coupons, then one could do very well doing weekly grocery shopping at Family Fare.
Only place i will buy my meats. Dont like how some of the cashiers bag my raw meat with other stuff and dont like when they put pork with beef and so on. So i try and say something but i also dont really like conflict since i have asked before and was told oh it will be fine. I have gotten a hold of the right person so if it happens again ill let them know.
I would give this place five stars but the prices are noticeably higher than Walmart. I appreciate the smaller store size and the selection doesn't suffer in spite of this.

Came here for a late night snack after a wedding at the St. James and it was amaaaaazing! 10/10 recommend. Owned by a very sweet couple that was so welcoming. The guy told us he smokes all of the meats in house too. Next time you're in Red Wing, you
A really nice place. Nice little coffee shop. Quaint. Carpeting gives a nice warm feeling in November. Fun book exchange for the locals. This would be a great place to work remotely.
I recently went to see my first performance at the Seldom Theater in Red Wing! I went with some friends and we saw the B2wins! What a gem of a historic theater hidden in the quaint town of Red Wing! I feel like I was instantly transported into the pa
