Falls Motel - Motel in American Falls - 411 Lincoln St, USA

The Falls Motel is a wonderful place to stay. The managers there are kind and very helpful. They are pet friendly and kid friendly with a nice lawn up front and a very nice play area with a swing set and kiddie pool in the back away from the high traffic area. The rooms are cozy intimate rooms. Heater and air conditioner work. Carpet and room was clean upon arrival. T.V., microwave, and refrigerator work exceptionally well. Altogether one of the best places I have stayed. Very friendly atmosphere absolutely loved it!

this little motel is cute. its quite and clean. ive read these other reviews and we didnt have anything go wrong. the rooms are small but clean. they dont have bath tubs but the showers were fine. a little short but good. and the managers are very nice. thankx again.

I want to thank Jenn, of Falls Motel, for her courteousness, patience, and accommodating attitude. She understood our personal needs for the reason we were staying, worked diligently to provide me the best possible solutions, and was so sweet. I feel, the Hampton Inn I stayed at outside of Dallas, could learn a great deal about customer service, hospitality, and genuine care for customer needs from this Motel. Many small businesses like this, may not be fancy. Yet, the personal care is of such great value at a lesser price. <3

is was an old motel but they had taken good care of it! its kinda like a country room lol and we loved it!! it was very clean and the family that runs it were very nice. It was pretty quiet, and they allowed my kids to go into the backyard swimming pool with their kids. the t.v. was a little small but we were outside most of the time anyway so it wasn't a big deal.

Driving through American Falls, ID we decided to try this little motel for the night. Oh boy was that an experience. I used to rodeo years ago and would stay at little cheap dives to save money but I never stayed at anything like this. Like most reviews say, they are a nice couple who own or manage it. Started out they charged us $50 for a gueen and this was their last room. Motel prices now days I thought that wasn't to terribly bad. We new something was up when the key wouldn't open the door. It was the right key, you just had to use your shoulder to pry it open. Once inside, my wife said, "Oh no, we're not staying in here." I told her to give it a try. Then she goes into the bathroom to use the potty while I try to figure out how to make the TV work. Then I can hear here her laughing off and on. She finally comes out and I asked her what's so funny. She took me in the bathroom and showed me an old grubby wash cloth draped over the shower curtain rod. Looked like it's been there awhile. The shower head hit you about chest high. There was little white pebble like chunks covering the shower floor. Looked like soap chunks. Most of the tiles were either broke or missing. The ceiling was flaking apart from the moisture. Now the main room. The dirt on the walls was something to be desired. But when we pulled the covers down and noticed blood on the sheets that's when I told the wife, "Ok, I give. We are not staying here." Went to the office and got our money back without any problem. While driving away, we noticed the 'No Vacancy' changed to 'Vacancy' again. I'm sure they eventually rented it. Drove down the road about 20 miles and stayed at the Ramada for $54. I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.

Room: Cramped. Very small. It's a bed and a few pieces of furniture from the 1960's. ||||Bed: Hard as a cement block. ||||Sheets: I'm not sure I could legally describe them and keep this a PG-review. ||||Toilet: It worked!||||Shower: Water came out of it, but it sprayed in every direction except forward. ||||If you can't stay in Pocatello or decide you need to stay here (for whatever reason), don't expect much. It's a place that'll keep out of the weather, and that's about it. If you're here in the winter, the heater will keep you warm. It's a place to get a few winks and wash up a bit if you can't drive anymore, but don't even look at the sheets before you get into bed. Just go to sleep and don't be too curious in the morning. Better yet, sleep in your clothes on top of the spread. ||||I really don't like giving this review, because the owners/managers at the front desk are very nice people. But the place really -- REALLY -- does need a lot of work.

First the Management couple are very nice willing to help with anything kind of peopel. the room is a little on the small side but very clean. we had fun while we were there. they make yiou feel very at home! thank yio so much!!

This is apparently the only dog-friendly motel in town. We should have just stayed in Pocatello - the room we had was small and cramped, and had a very strange odor. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, and there was no place to put our things. At least is was pretty cheap.
