I asked my girlfriend to marry me at the gazebo, right before the great snowstorm of January 2022. It was a wonderful and special day. And very cold, so much so that we couldn’t stop laughing. In many ways the story of our love and lives together is tied to memories at this park, so we’re grateful for that and will probably never forget it. So, maybe if you come to this park you will fall in (fallon?) love. Or maybe you will see kids playing in the creek or dogs sprinting in circles, and that would be fun too.
Pretty neat little trail, sometimes it’s crowded which I’d rather just not but when there’s space to breathe it’s very calming and listening to the stream is peaceful.
Beautiful, winding park. There are many paths across the creeks that are stone-hopping bridges, which myself and my service dog especially enjoy. This is a very family-friendly park, with lots of activities in the afternoons and early evenings. Head's up to those with dogs that many people don't leash/have their unfriendly dogs off leash, so be prepared. Edit 2/17/22: As a side note to PokéGo players: the park has improved considerably, better spawn rates and multiple stops have been added since my first review.
It's a nice neighborhood park. There some trails by the water and bridges that cross which are nice. Some of trails die off into the street though and another one has you go over the creek on rocks so it's not the easiest to access. There are two decent sized open areas at either end for dogs to play and I've even seen pee-wee soccer there.
small public park inside beltway. it would be a good idea to bring a waterproof blanket if you plan to picnic. also there is a creek there so if you bring children just watch them. the creek is a magnet for curious children..its safe if they are watched. great open playing field for playtime sports. good place to go for 30 min an hour.
We love Fallon Park! My wife and I spent many early years here, before we were married, falling in love. Our initials are carved on a tree somewhere in the park. Just a wonderful place to enjoy the solitude of the woods and the sound of running water.
I grew up playing in this park and creek. Some nice amenities since I was a kid. Don't expect restrooms but there are a few covered areas to sit and relax or have a picnic. The creek is still fun for kids to play in while parents hang out near by with friends. Safe neighborhood. Open dawn till dusk.
Fun and beautiful park. Perfect little grassy area to kick a ball or set out a picnic. The creek, trails and bridge are beautiful, unfortunately there is a fair amount of poison ivy so all the areas kids want to explore most have to be checked carefully.
I recently hiked the Sycamore Trail in William B. Umstead State Park and I highly recommend it! It is a 7.2 mile loop trail that is moderately challenging, but not too strenuous. The trail winds through a variety of terrain, including forests, meadow

My kids love this place and we frequently bike here for sunsets at the top of the hill. Also they think the trash burn off constant flame pipe is cool. Great place for pics and the playground is fairly new. Convenient to bike to off the Neuse River t

Come get your exercise on!!! I've been to active parks before, but man alive!! I wasn't ready!! Kinda felt bad, coming there to grab some photos, so I did a couple of push-ups to be a team player. Very clean, plenty of space, and they even have a f
Truly a hidden gem. There's maybe a mile to a mile and a half of trails altogether, and they're all really pretty. There's a creek that runs through the park with a small waterfall, and quite a variety of trees and plants. Saw very little poison ivy

This will be my go-to box when I come back to Raleigh. The second I walked in the coach was very welcoming, and everyone made me feel like I was hanging out with friends at my box in Washington. On top of how at home I felt, the layout was perfect al
My partner and I stopped in to try the coffee and a slice of cake while we did some work. Both the coffee and the cake were good. I always get a plain latte my first time at a new coffee shop to figure out if Iâm going to like it and Munch It defin
Yum! I got the cold brew and it was rich and robust and creamy without the need for milk or creamer to be added! I also nabbed the last croissant for the day and it has a lovely texture and flavor. Service was polite and the place felt clean. I enjo

Bryan Griffin is flat out one of my favorite people in the art. Talented beyond explanation and just a really nice guy. Anytime I'm ever close to Raleigh, I'll be heading into their school.
