Been to Falling Rabbit three weekends in a row because it's extremely pleasant every visit! I'd label this as a luxury cocktail bar for my ladies who want a girl's night that's not inner-city. Things you should know: I. PARKING Downtown Duluth has various free, public parking lots. You may have to drive around on weekend evenings a little before you can find a space. Also, you might have to walk a little bit if you cannot find a nearby spot. II. SERVICE The service here is PHENOMONAL! We've stayed past close (not realizing) and they didn't do anything to rush us out. I mean, I would have personally started mopping the floors in front of the guests and would have cut the music, but they just carried on like normal. My friend also forgot her purse! So we called 20 minutes past close time (they picked up!) and they said we could come get it that same night! Wow! So friendly. I wouldn't take that for granted though guys. Please don't leave your belongings. III. QUALITY So far, I've only consistently bought cocktails and charcuterie boards. All delicious. Nothing disappointed. IV. CAPACITY Slim available seating on weekends. Some bar stools available for walk-in guests. Highly recommend making a reservation though.

I didn’t really care about the food there, in my opinion they neither taste good nor bad. I do care about the drink, I had mocktail of ginger beer, pineapple juice and rosemary mix with lime on it, so refreshing and great drink mixers. The food portion could be bigger for the price you pay but well some people don’t like to eat much. The menu is very limited, most people dine here to get some drinks mostly and hang out with friends. It’s great place to go on a date in my opinion but not for family dinner, my son was still hungry after dinner.

My friends and I just enjoyed a great dinner at Falling Rabbit. We sat on the patio and had exceptional service from Zack who was friendly and personable. We had a variety of dishes across the menu including steak tartar, frites, steak, and salmon ravioli. The presentation of the dishes was lovely and each was well prepared. Beyond the food, the drinks were amazing. From the “bartender’s choice” shots to the “pretty hurts” cocktails, the amazing taste of the cocktails on the menu makes you almost think that you are having a “mocktail.”. Overall, we truly enjoyed our ladies night dinner and can’t wait to return.

I’m missing some pics!! But omg this was one of best restaurants I’ve been to. 2 items on the menu were unavailable and I was disappointed. HOWEVER, everything else I ordered was so good it mad up for everything. From the drinks, appetizers, great service from staff especially Zack, 10/10 recommend! I’ll be back to try the items I couldn’t. I just Know it’s amazing!

I love the atmosphere, art was amazing I loved the service but honestly I was expecting more with the meals to the cost…. I love that it’s seasonal fresh ingredients, and understand items run out due to demand, I had reviewed the menu before attending dinner and had a game plan on what I wanted and had to change my options due to being unavailable. I felt the cheese appetizer, was more visually appealing actually very hard to eat, size of the cheese bites very large cubes, to the pickled veggies some flavors combinations could be complementary to each other. I probably built up high expectations in my head, being a chef as well but I was displeased with my meal and felt beans and ham with seared tuna on top shouldn’t be a recommended dish. When I attended a new location I ask the server what is recommended due to them, knowing how it is being prepared and served with quality. I do keep in mind that some servers do recommend the most expensive items on the menu, which I don’t mind as long as my taste buds are going on a magical ride. The dish was recommended to me by the server, I instantly regretted it once it was plated and saw the same expression with my friend sitting across from me with the same dish. I had look around the restaurant and suspect a couple across the way, having the same thoughts, as I watched them eat with slightly ruffled noses with eat bite they took. I was truly expecting a different meal experience of possibly wiggling in my seat of tastebuds ecstasy, and full of smiles. I took my meal home after taking 4 bites I was done. The proportions are large as full plates for 3 course options that was lovely. I enjoy my drink it was strong but tasty “harry Nilsson spritz”. A few ladies had ordered “Czech me out” we’re very beautiful was told wasn’t very strong and the most expensive drink “ pretty hurtz” was an regretted order after taste from another friend at the table and joked she paid more the rosemary then the drink. (Took meal home dog didn’t eat it) added photo

I Came here for a fathers day early dinner. I booked through Open Table. I had to use a credit card to secure a spot. If I didn't show up I would get a 10$ pp service charge But I showed up and that didn't happen. I did NOT know there was a happy hour. I spent half of what I expected and was so surprised. The server was amazing. The drinks were amazing. The food was amazing. The desert was on the sweet side but I had it with black coffee, so that helped cut through the sugar. I could have eaten off the toilet in the Restroom it was sparkling clean. It is selfie heaven but there is only two restrooms so u have to be respectful of others. The server was amazing and sweet all the servers were. I felt they were working as a team. Everyone who was serving came over to my table at one point or another. The hostess seemed to have an injured arm but still poured water for us (Give her a raise ASAP) the bartenders shot of choice was a blueberry lemonade shot. The food was full of flavor and I loved the presentation. My husband and I are into fitness so the portions were perfect for us. No complaints. The ambiance is amazing I feel like I am back in NYC. Every ingredient felt hand picked and was a wonderful addition to the plate. I enjoyed the colors and textures. Peaches eggs and crab who would have guessed that's amazing. Overall I will be returning. The drinks were great as well a lot of flavor and beautiful classic presentation of cocktails. Thank you Falling Rabbit!

This folk lore decor Alice in Wonderland type of atmosphere was really unique! Old style 3-course meal was homie. Great food with unique ever changing menu. Be prepared to spend about $100 pp. overall great experience!

UPDATE: I've had halibut several times both at home and in restaurants. Falling Rabbit does theirs with confit fingerling potatoes, smoked butter, bacon chimichurri (which makes me think of Mary Poppins, IYKYK). Fun fact: the greens we ate included pea tendrils. Look it up. The halibut was excellent. Slightly toasted/bronzed so it's crispy at the edges but moist and, can I say "meaty" inside when referring to fish taste? This is why Halibut is my favorite fish. So tasty and a good firm, white, flaky/blocky North Pacific fish. The extras that Falling Rabitt provided just made it even better. UPDATE: drinks and apps with friends was great. Excellent service again. The charcuterie board was a lot of food for wifey and me. Excellent and attentive bartenders. Great drinks and an actual decent happy hour! Wha-what?! The Old Fashions rock. We also had some apps — the charcuterie board was filled with delicious cheeses, fresh baked bread, and pickled vegetables (wish there had been more pickled onions though). The steak tartare was flavorful and had some wacky deep-fried tapioca, starch and sesame seed things that had a mouth-feel like chicharrones (pork skins) but zero calories. They were light and very good.

Took my husband here for Father’s Day and we really enjoyed ourselves. The restaurant itself is very cozy and intimate and has a minimalistic ambiance. We were seated as soon as we entered, the hostess was actually smiling at us through the door be
