Great food and always a great time.
The Cobb salad is very very good with an array of dried cherries, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, eggs, avocado, blue cheese and mixed salad. No cheap iceberg. I was craving this as I've had it in the restaurant, I ordered out and got it home, it was just as good as the one I had in the restaurant.
Northern Michigan has a few joints. An out of town score for dining & fun.... bring your cue. Food is average bar chow with happy servers . Tasty skewers are a hit, great burgers. Ready for Friday Bluegill and Saturday Steak night.
First visit to the Timbers. Nice first impressions as we walked in. Well maintained pool tables, table area, and bar. We were greeted and had drinks right away. This is where service slowed. We ordered and waited a long time for our dinners. Once the food arrived, the spaghetti was bland, and the Mac and Cheese was decent. The fried chicken was fresh and delicious. We had a To-Go order that was placed while we ate, and we ended up waiting again for a long time. We will visit again.

The food was good. Disappointed, the onion rings and mushrooms are not made in-house. I had the Turkey Ruben which was really good and shrooms. They had Karaoke 🎤 when we were there so we stayed for that and drinks. Decently priced. Forgot pics.
Went for Friday night fish special, and it was very good! It is one of the few places around that serve smelt. They also had perch, walleye & bluegill. All of the fish was excellent, along with the service!
Food and beer are excellent, and when itâs sunny outside itâs bright and beautiful inside, even when itâs chills outside. Cocktails are seasonal, creative, and excellent. We have never had bad service and it feels like hanging out with friends.
This place is a Gem ! Very spacious sites, plenty of shade, decent river access to cool & refresh. Hand pumps & pits. Town of Honor 5 minutes away for supplies. Can't wait to come back !
So much fun! The front 9 and back 9 have very different styles, but both are great to play. Plenty to challenge anyone, the greens are challenging, and the fairways can be tight. And let's not forget the ubiquitous northern Michigan water and wildlif
Staff very friendly and stop by daily in the early afternoon to check if you need anything (towels toiletries ECT). Room was a bit small but honestly in much better condition than any mid-grade hotels we've been to. Bed very comfortable, shower had v

Got the Mediterranean pizza with breadsticks. Food was really good and owner was very kind and welcoming. Place was kept clean and food was out quick. Will be back when we return up north!
It was the best smelt dinner I have ever had! The waitress was by herself and working her butt off. She was still very friendly. You can walk down to crystal lake to see the sunset.
