I was glad to see people able to utilize the water there, it has been so hot lately and I was expecting the park to be too hot to enjoy or blazing hot. But, I found several of our underserved populations cooling down, and others having picnics, or lunch in the shade. It was a sight to see and brought me joy. Keep up the good work Porterville, and show kindness while you're out there. That is the one main ingredient that will for sure impact society for the better. Much love, and Respect.
Recently I took my boys to this park and they loved it they are both age 6 and under. As a parent I loved it because I saw how much they liked it. Rest rooms were clean and there was a good amount of seats all around for the parents to watch their kids. I only wish the play area was bigger to accommodate a lot more kids. The park was full of people with their kids and it was during the week after school so I don't know how much more busy it gets on the weekend. All in all I would definitely return
Clean restrooms, nice playground has b b q grill, tables, benches and picnic area
Always a fun place to have the kids run around and have some fun.
Great park for children 5 and under! Bathrooms could be better maintained, but kids had loads of fun here.
Separate play areas for big and little kids are both covered, restrooms, outdoor fitness equipment, walking trail, basketball court, lots of benches, big grassy field
Beautiful park. Alot of homeless people near by that kept watching us was a little awkward.
I think this is a great park for toddlers. Easy to get to. Close to the parking lot. There are homeless people that travel through but never had a problem. Never made it when the splash pad water was on though.
The very first bite and I absolutely knew that this was best patty melt I have eaten anywhere. I chose sourdough bread and pepper jack cheese. They grind their own meat. It was cooked perfectly and the strange part I noticed it melted in mouth. T
The chefs are not afraid to use the proper amount of peppers in their delicious food. Especially loved the larb and wished I could try more. Would make it a point to stop here again if anywhere close.

There are 3 El Charro Tapatio in Porterville, but this location is the BEST one. Everything is always delicious and fresh. We really like the elderly lady in there. She is just genuinely happy and so sweet all the time. She is really good what she is
First visit to this cafe. This was on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Got there early on recommendation of local friend. We were one of three tables, and the atmosphere was of a utilitarian cafeteria . Although, the walls were plastered with all sorts
Great food! I always order something with a side of rice, because if the rice isn't good who cares about the other stuff. I judge Mexican restaurants with extreme prejudice based on the simple menu items. But this restaurant has great cooks! It remi
Going in my first time today I was told that the burgers here would be both affordable and great. with the price being a little less then other restaurants and they were an amazing treat to have. May not be huge restaurant but quality over quantity.
